Announcing the Expanded Edition! A Standalone Military Romance, Romantic Suspense novel from the NYT Bestselling author of the Titan Series...

Nicola is an injured CIA agent on the run from a failed undercover operation. Her escape plan shatters when she slams into the man who buried her a decade ago. Cash Garrison. Her first and only love. Now, sexier than her best memory and cradling a sniper's rifle, he has questions she can't answer. Why was she alive? And armed?

Cash is an elite member of a black ops organization, The Titan Group. He thought Nicola died his senior year of college and swore off love to focus on a decade of military missions. But when she shows up behind enemy lines, bleeding out and wielding a weapon, his heart and mind are unsure how to proceed.

Titan and the CIA join forces to uncover a mole hidden in a network of international terrorists and homegrown mobsters, teaming Cash and Nicola again. They fight old wounds and re-ignite sparks while closing in on a double agent. When disaster strikes, Nicola's hidden past makes her the hunted target and Cash's best kill shot may not be enough to save them.

This expanded edition contains: new content throughout, including bonus scenes in chapters 5, 6, 10, 13, and 15. You'll also find an extended epilogue.

After reading Sweet Girl I just had to follow up on Cash and Nicola's story.  They are both so different in this book but I still love them.  Cash will keep a special place in your heart and you will love him so much more than you did in Sweet Girl.  Not to mention his nickname for Nic just makes you love him all the more.  Wonderful ending to their story!

Before you get all close and personal with hardened CIA agent Nicola Garrison and Black Ops specialist Cash Garrison, read Sweet Girl, their backstory, taking place ten years earlier, then settle in for a sometimes volatile, sometimes passionate tale of lost love, lost innocence and fear of history repeating itself. Sniper expert, Cash and his team are on a mission, but what Cash sees through his scope brings him to his knees, was it a ghost haunting his past? Nicola died, he helped bury the love of his life, but this woman hanging on the arm of a vile black market weapons dealer can be none other than his Nicola, older, more beautiful, with an edge to her countenance. After disappearing to protect her family, Nicola is alone in the world, and finds the life of a CIA undercover agent fits her perfectly, no attachments, no roots, just her job, facing danger on a daily basis, long months of infiltrating and seducing are about to come to an end as her mission is in its final moments and a black market arms dealer is about to go down. The clock ticks, and suddenly from nowhere, a sniper’s blast ruins months of hard work and she is now on the run, heading straight into a group of Black Ops mercenaries, Cash and her brother, included. How does she explain what happened when she is sworn to secrecy? How could they have ruined all of her work with one bullet? How does she survive the pain and hate in Cash’s eyes? Who can she turn to when there is a traitor in the CIA who has her marked for death? Their hearts scream to each other, but pride is a powerful enemy. Cristin Harber is amazing in her ability to envelope her readers in her romantic mysteries. We are invited into the minds and hearts of the characters, hearing their internal battles as they think and fell one thing, only to say and do another. The mental dialogue added so much to creating living characters dealing with over the top emotional torment and doubt. From their tender and tentative love a decade before, to the current day shocks, these two are waging an internal battle that feels real. Populated with a large cast of varied characters who appear either briefly or in cameo appearances throughout, there is time to chuckle, to sigh, and to hope these characters will soon have their own story to tell. Fast-paced, filled with intrigue and romance and other matters of the heart, Nicola and Cash’s story had me from page one.

when I read the first book, I wasn't expecting anything like this one. So many twists and turns keeps you guessing until the end.

4-1/2 Stars. The first Titan novel I read was Savage Secrets. It was good so when Sweet Girl came out, I quickly devoured it and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I “ran” to the iBookstore and picked up the entire Titan boxed set and decided to read them in order, starting with Winter’s Heat. But the shiny stack of ARCs sitting on my virtual bookshelf kept calling to me and I set it aside until my Hart Attack ARC arrived. Suddenly, I needed to know the rest of Nicola and Cash’s story before I read about Roman. I know the author wrote Garrison’s Creed first, then followed it up with the prequel, but if you haven’t read either of these books yet, start with Sweet Girl. I think it’s much more bittersweet seeing how they meet up again after knowing their story, watching how losing Nic affected Cash. With that disclaimer, Garrison’s Creed is every bit as good as Sweet Girl and Nic and Cash are my favorite Titans. After believing Nicola Hart died a decade before in a fiery car crash, Cash and his best friend, Roman, who is also Nic’s older brother, threw themselves first into the military, then into special ops with Titan. The job always came first and any women on the side were just for fun. No one would own Cash’s heart again, at least until he discovers Nic is alive, working for the CIA. There’s a lot for both of them to deal with. Cash understandably feels both unfathomable relief as well as heart-crushing betrayal. He’s bitterly angry but does try to understand. Nic is dealing with regret and overwhelming guilt. But these two belong together and it’s only a matter of time for them to realize what everyone else already knows. Plot The main plot is the romance between Cash and Nic. There’s a lot of conflict there to work with, and the sweeter moments are a nice contrast. The secondary plot involves a potential double agent with the CIA who may or may not want Nic and Cash dead. About the only thing that keeps this from being a full five-stars for me is the addition of a third point of view. Being inside the antagonist’s head gives us glimpses into things Cash and Nicola can’t know and removes some of the tension. I’m not sure that extra POV really adds anything to the story. World Building Cristin Harber excels at creating believable worlds of spies and special ops for hire. The added conflict and suspense that her setting brings to her stories makes that ultimate happily ever after much more satisfying. As a CIA operative, Nicola and Cash’s path to happiness is a minefield at best. And just when we get to the point where things seem to be heading in the right direction, the author raises the stakes again, unfolding believably in the world she’s created. Characters The Titan characters are always strong. What I love is the way Cristin Harber really differentiates character voice so that I never feel like it’s the same character over and over again. I also love that even though Cash and Nic are a decade older than in Sweet Girl, they are still very much themselves, just more mature. We get to see a bit more of Roman in this, too as he comes to terms with his sister’s reappearance and the fact that his best friend is sleeping with her. And I’m already rooting for Beth and Roman. Top Five Things I Love About  Garrison’s Creed 1. Cash’s Cowboy Hat. I’m not normally into cowboys, but Cash makes a strong argument for reconsidering that. 2. Nicola’s Love of Fashion. It makes her more human and shows her girly side. 3. Their First Kiss. That kiss on the ground in front of the truck — hot! 4. The Cash-Roman-Nic Chemistry. It’s nice to see this chemistry first introduced in Sweet Girl is still intact, albeit somewhat strained. 5. Jared’s Begrudging Respect for Nic. Jared is gruff, no two ways about it, but seeing the way he respects Nic makes me like him just a little bit more than I already did. Bottom Line Garrison’s Creed continues Cash and Nicola’s story with plenty of the action and suspense we expect from Cristin Harber.

I had to give up reading this book. The plot is ridiculous and full of holes. The writing is juvenile with a bit of stream of cosciousness thrown in. End result, you have noidea whatsgoing on. Of course you can guess its just more of the same. Characters are perpetually drunk as if they are a bunch of frat boys. Lead charavters are forever hiding therir true feelings even while sporadically hooking up. Skip it.

Ms. Harber gives one outstanding read with almost 200 5 star reviews on Garrison’s Creed I would have to agree with them. This book has it all hot love, spies, lost love, new beginning, broken hearts, healing, family, love, passion, thrills, action packed, mystery you name it this author does deliver. All the reviewers say to read Sweet Girl first for the beginning and background of Nicola and Cash which I haven’t read but man do I plan on. This is one hot read that burns up the pages. I would say I am hooked on this author and this series. This book starts out with a bang which the author carries all through each page. Ms. Harber gives a compelling touching story of A SPY RUNNING FOR HER LIFE AND THE MAN SHE COULD NEVER SEE AGAIN BATTLE BETRAYAL TO SAVE THEMSELVES. I could not have said it better than how this author did with the above description. You have an agent running for her life as she runs into the one man that said his goodbyes as he placed her in the ground at her funeral years ago. He couldn’t believe his eyes as he looks through his sites to kill the man she is with. His eyes must be playing tricks on him it couldn’t be her she is dead, his first love, his only love and his last love. She sure was surprised when she ran out to get away and runs into her love that she had to leave years ago with no goodbye. Man she has some explaining to do but will Cash let her get a word out? He is so mad you could light a fuse under him and he wouldn’t know it. This all happens in the beginning of the book just think about what this author has in store for you as she takes you through spies trying to take you out, gun running, bombs, along with finding a new beginning as you learn to fight the love you have for each other. There sure is some hot stuff going on in this passion filled book. This is a book I could not put down as the author takes you on a ride that will have you guessing to what end is up or down as Chase and Nicola dance around their feelings coming to blows with him trying to protect her and her standing up and showing him who is boss. It’s anyone’s guess which one will come out on top in this tug-a-war of the heart. The author gives a wonderful plot which will keep you on the edge as you race to turn the pages to see what these two and the other ops get into. There are some splitting hair scenes that you will wonder what the outcome is. The word flow is outstanding as the author takes you on an action pack read that will get your blood pumping and your motor running. You can feel the pain, sorrow, joy and hurt of these wonderful characters as well as the supporting characters. Each has a story to tell which the author does in an amazing way. There is no wonder why this author is a bestseller she sure stole my heart with this soul touching read as she throws in a little humor to keep you smiling and chuckling throughout this wonderful book. Cristin Harber I fell in love with your writing style as you spun this outstanding tale of the one who got away only to return to flip a few worlds upside down and all around

I enjoyed the first one when I read it a while back so I thought I would finally get around to completing the series. I did not see the prequel until later on so I have not read it yet. However, having read this one, I know how the prequel ends so I doubt I get it. As I said in the headline, it is okay. I did not connect with the characters much. Yes, Cash is hot but I found them both unrelatable. Not my cup of tea, I guess... Anyway, most reviewers (at least the ones who wrote a small novel for a review) seemed to gush on about it. I am sort of, meh, about it. No one detail I guess. Just did not click with me.

This is romance and intrigue at it's best. Seriously could not put this down. Non-stop from page 1. I would recommend reading Sweet Girl first, just to get the "true" back story. and really understand the emotional ride these characters take.

I started the series with "Sweet Girl" which precedes this book, but is out of order in the series. This of course only made me want to start at the first in series, "Winters Heat". I'm hooked and Cristin Harber is now one of my faves!! I'd definetly recc this author and series. Lots of action and smoking hot love scenes!!

Ok...STOP....please read SWEEET GIRL FIRST!!!! This is Cash & Nicola's back story and is fabulous in and of itself! Now, about Garrison's Creed. First, let me say that I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! That being said...I Love Cash Garrison. BUT, I spent some time upset with him and his behavior. I actually think that it was a worse disappointment in him knowing their backstory, but I guarantee that he redeemed himself! This series is AWESOME! There is action and passion in this whole series! The characters are fully developed, the storyline is complex and complete! I highly recommend the Titan Series! Pull up a chair and ENJOY!
