About the Author

JOAN OF DARK aka Toni Carr has had a passion for knitting since her grandmother taught her how, and she instantly regretted the hours in her life spent not knitting. When not knitting, skating, performing aerial silks, or running muddy obstacle course races, you may find her working in her coffee shop, playing the guitar or the bass, or taking care of her many rescue animals.

I love Joan of Dark's Knits for Nerds so when I saw on Ravelry she was coming out with another book filled with geeky patterns of course I had to run out and buy it! The patterns are lots of fun, I can't wait to knit up some Bad Robot Fingerless Gloves.  There are lots of patterns inspired by Doctor Who which makes this Whovian very happy.  It's also lots of fun seeing different geeky celebrities modeling the knitwear and reading the introductions to the patterns.  There's a wide selection of fandoms represented which is nice as well.  Thanks Joan of Dark for another fun knitting book.
