About the Author

Linda Macklin (Born 1987, maiden name Smith) grew up in the small town of Widnes. Growing up Linda would sit near the fire and write short stories whilst the music played. She became one with her music as she wrote different scenes from her stories, using the different genre of each note as she connected with her characters. She would sit for hours writing whatever came into her head, starting from short stories and novels to scripts.

Linda got married at the age of 19 and soon after gave birth to the eldest of her three boys.

Linda has written many stories in her years but this book has to be one of Linda's favourites to write and contains her first ever battle scene.
