This book is a wonderful source of ideas for recycling t-shirts. Not only is there something for everyone, with themes ranging from people clothes to pet clothes to household accessories, but the skill level required is also for everyone. Not everything requires sewing, and the things which do are easily sewn by hand -- no machine required. My teenaged daughters spend a rainy afternoon holed up with this book, a stack of old t-shirts, and my sewing kit, and I never heard a peep from them. PRICELESS! They are already talking about what they will make for their friends for Christmas.

I bought this book before her first in paperback and promptly got stuck needing a bazillion T's because I wanted do try almost EVERY SINGLE THING FIRST!!! No kidding, from the small flowers to make into hair clips with scraps to incredible halter top dresses and gaucho pants to die for. Every peice of clothing so comfy, easy to make,Super ez, and you can upcycle your own items along with new finds from the craft store or thrift shops....or your friends and neighbors closets and attic spaces. Beware,if you hear oooo's and aaah's coming from your attic, don't shoot first, it may be a Generation T upcycling your cast-offs for the greater good, wink wink.

I own Megan Nicolay's first T-shirt recon book. There's always a concern that when a follow up book comes out it won't be as good as the first, but that is not the case here! As always, clear and concise instructions, fun projects, great inspiration. If you like T-shirt recons this is your bible. Get 'em both and enjoy!

I mentor sewing students at a local high school and don't have lots of time to spend with them each week. This book contains simple but marvelous projects that are fun and easy, can't wait to get started in the coming semester with some of the ideas!
