About the Author

Bob Wielenga is an internationally known public speaker on the topics of effective stewardship and mission development. He has trained and educated pastors in more than 75 countries. With more than 35 ministry experience Bob & Janet have directed and coordinated more than 500 short-term mission experiences leading more than 15,000 individuals to an understanding of a Christian worldview.

Bob also currently serves as a consultant for the Ministry Fundraising Network, a working group of the Lausanne Movement.

Loving and serving God has been the heartbeat of Janet's life. Blessed to work in a variety of ministries since 1983, her experience includes ministering to high school youth, mentoring mothers of preschoolers, and serving the local church in worship and discipleship.

Throughout all of these ministries Janet's passion has been people. Challenging, encouraging, building relationships, and practicing the art of being available to lead, assist, coach, train and teach people of all ages the truth of the Gospel message and living lives that reflect Jesus.

In 1984, while on a mission trip together in Haiti, Bob asked Janet to be his wife. Married the next year, God has rocked their world and they have been honored and humbled to serve the Lord together both locally and globally.

Together, their mission has always been to develop the body of Christ to generously love, live, serve and give.

Married since 1985, they live in Zeeland, Michigan and have a son and daughter-in-law living in Texas and a daughter and son-in-law living in Michigan.

Eric Casteel along with his wife Amy and a long-time friend and partner in ministry, Jeremy Isom, found their hearts were broken to find the church failing to build relationships within their local communities much less with the world.

It was as if the church had forgotten how to be 'in the world' and not 'of the world.' Together, they created LEAP International and set out to define what healthy community and healthy relationships look like. Healthy communities are built on meaningful relationships. Meaningful relationships are built on shared experience. Shared experiences are enriched by diversity and respect. Diversity and respect are possible through a generous heart. The church is at the center developing healthy community through the transformative message of the gospel. LEAP International has mobilized programs in the US, Europe, Africa, South and Central America, and Asia.

Eric and Amy live in Leuven, Belgium where they serve pastoring The International Church at Leuven. Married since 1998 the Casteels have three daughters.

Richard Sharp loves to provoke conversations about God's Live Story.

He's constantly connecting individuals and groups to common conversations around Discipleship, Stewardship and Community.

Richard believes that God's unfolding story is powerful and that we can show others how God is working in our Story, 'Live'.

The 'Live' nature of our Story is something that we often don't focus on and only reflect on our Story through the lens of hindsight. He believes that if we can see our Story for what it is in the here and now, we will also see God and the ways that he is writing that Story, and ultimately share it with others.

Over the past 20 years he has committed his life to investing in people and building teams. Richard is passionate about creativity, innovation and the pursuit of new ideas, in his own life and others.

Married to Catriona since 2000 they together have 5 boys and are blessed to be based in the McLaren Vale region of South Australia.
