I enjoyed reading "George the Little Brown Mouse". It was fun reading and offered some challenges too. The characters came to life right off the pages. I could easily put myself into the Mistress of the house shoes. It was a pleasant surprise to see that the Mistress was an animal lover--baiting George with the almond butter and after capturing him, taking him to the creek to continue experiencing life. My pre-schoolers loved it and have asked for a reread. As a homework help assistant, I have had children up to the 6th grade read George and they enjoyed it too. I would recommend "George the Little Brown Mouse" to anyone who enjoys reading--kids and adults alike.
