About the Author

Mr. Lindsay has been helping nonprofit agencies, for profit businesses, and government agencies engage in organizational development and fund raising since 1976. He has served as a grant reviewer for Federal agencies for over 20 years and for District of Columbia agencies for over 10 years. He has administered nonprofit agencies and for profit companies as well as been a consultant to agencies and businesses for over 30 years. He has raised money to support agencies and has directed and managed as well as helped agencies raised over $75 million in his 30 year career. He has lectured and taught seminars, workshops, and conferences on organizational development and fundraising in Washington, D.C. regionally, and nationally. He is a nationally recognized expert on fundraising and organizational development. Mr. Lindsay has served on Boards of Directors for organizations serving homeless persons periodically over the last 20 years and has raised money as a volunteer for agencies serving homeless women. He is an adjunct professor in Sociology at the Northern Community Virginia College. He has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Mercer University and a Masters Degree in Business and Social Administration from Georgia College, and completed work towards a Doctorate in Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame.
