This book gives and honest overview of what the realities of investing and owning real estate. It shows that real estate is reliable and does grow long term wealth. another great name for it could have been how to grow a money tree! It literally walks you through each step of the process and gives you a system to determine of the deal is worthy to go forward or to walk away! There is much help in the math department for any beginner. I highly recommend this book as your reference guide in every real estate investment purchase you make. Keep it with you at all times.

Clearly outlined how to begin to increase your wealth by making sound investments in rental real estate properties. By reading this book I became comfortable with determining if a property was a sound investment and the step-by-step procedures I must take to insure my success year after year. Many thanks to the authors of this book!

I found this to be an excellent book that tells you, in sufficient detail, how to invest in real estate. How to start with modest investments, fixer uppers, and slowly build equity and wealth through careful and hard work, increasing your investments as you learn and grow, from small houses to apartment buildings. I wish this book had been available 30 or 40 years ago. It covers everything you need to know and more.

This book lays out a process in detail on how to create your own systematic approach for buying and managing rental properites. Some of the gems in the book include tips on how to build your team of professionals (you thought you could get rich in a vacuum?), determine your risk level for potential stinker deals, strategize on how to best hold on to your earnings (think tax man), and find the best possible renters (no one wakes up saying I want to be a nasty landlord today). You wouldn't think a book on this subject matter would be easy to read (let alone humorous), but the author does a great job making the infomation approachable. We're just getting started building our empire, and for us the first piece of rental real estate is cash flowing and we're actively (patiently) looking for the next opportunity.
