Oh my goodness!! I finally got to read part 3 of this serial and it's as awesome as I was expecting!!!! This was such a great book! I am by no means a baseball fan but when I saw these two authors together, I KNEW I would love the story and I was absolutely right!! They make an awesome team! I love how the two series were combined but yet we got to see glimpses of each small town and their characters! LOVED IT!!!!!

Eli and Cait are at the point of reaching their dreams they both just need to say yes. Love and Dreams can happen when you have a whole town and baseball time on your side.

In the awesome conclusion to Getting Wound Up, Caitlyn has to fly back to Sapphire Falls when her idiot brother gets hurt again doing something stupid. She realizes she can't just stay in Kilby with Eli when her family needs her. But Eli needs her too. So much so that he's willing to leave baseball and the Major Leagues behind for her. For him. For their dreams together. Can they figure out how to have it all and be completely happy doing it?

With my 5 star reviews of parts 1 and 2, I'm sure you can imagine what my review on part 3 is going to be! What a wonderful conclusion to Eli and Caitlyn's story. I couldn't love these two more if I tried. The ups and downs, twists and turns that got us here are all what makes this book wonderful. These two are perfect together and it's all good stuff right up to the final word! Simply put....you're going to get your happily ever after in this one! Not only was this book fantastic all on its own, it made me incredible excited for the upcoming Sapphire Falls book by Erin Nicholas, as well as reading more about the Kilby Catfish in Jennifer Benard's world! Happy reading

I absolutely loved the conclusion to this book. This third installment was filled with love, laughter, friendship, sweet sibling interaction with a lot of sarcastic banter, and a perfect sexy ending. I don't think I have ever read a book where the two main characters are so selfless and caring. They epitomize, to me, how people should be, or at least how one should be towards their families. It was not a cheesy or over the top selflessness, but a genuine true manner. I loved the collaboration between Erin Nicholas and Jenny Bernard. I hope they will write together again as their styles meshed perfectly. And this book makes me very excited for Bryan's story.

Part 3 was a great conclusion to a wonderful novel. Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas did a fabulous job in the collaboration of this series. I loved everything about this story. If you are looking for a good series, look no further. Add it being about baseball and you have a very enjoyable romantic sports novel that you will enjoying reading again and again.

Hold on to your Cracker Jacks... This brilliant crossover series has hit one out of the park! Kidnapping and family matchmaking make this delightful story of family values, friendship, love, and never giving up on your dreams a must read. This is one to talk about and share with all of your friends. Who doesn't love a dirty happily ever after?

Getting Wound Up is being released in three parts and focuses on Eli Anderson and Caitlyn Murray. Eli was on track for a career in baseball when his Dad's stroke brought him home to take care of his family and the family hardware store. Despite giving up his dream, he was happy to be able to help his family. Caitlyn Murray also gave up her dream, returning to Sapphire Falls go help her family after her brother Bryan suffered a life-changing accident. Eli is one ofBryan's best friends, and Caitlyn has a crush on him. So when Bryan and Ty, the third musketeer, cook up a plan to get Eli to an open try-out, they don't have to do much convincing to get Caitlyn in on it. Eli has never let himself think of Caitlyn as anything other than his best friend's sister, but the road trip and one hotel room, combining with her faith in his abilities, bring out all his feelings. The big question is: Will he get the call? Baseball and two characters with big hearts and second chances. What's not to love about this story? The characters are well-written and the story, so far, flows so seamlessly that you would never guess that it was written by two authors combining writing a story that combines each of their series. I started reading and before I knew it...it was time to wait for part 2! I will wait, impatiently for the next 2 parts. This is why I DVR some shows, so I can watch them back to back and not wait to see what happens next. This is such a fun story and works well as a stand alone.

What a wonderful start to a great new serial from two of my favorite authors!!! Getting Wound Up brings together two amazing series and I can not wait for part two!!!! Eli and Caitlyn have known one another forever but don't really think about a relationship. Eli is Caitlyn's brothers best friend so naturally all the tension and denial are there! ;) Eeeek I can't wait for part 2 to see what happens next!!!!

This is a short read that certainly gets a reader ready for baseball season! It is a wonderful way to tie in the continuing story of the town of Sapphire Falls with new characters. A sweet read that makes you fall in love with the characters as they try to reach for their dreams.

Getting Wound Up is collaboration by Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas. It is also a crossover book between their two series, Jennifer’s Love Between the Bases and Erin’s Sapphire Falls. This book begins in Sapphire Falls where we meet hardware store worker Eli Anderson and candy maker Caitlyn Murray. Eli left college, forfeiting his baseball scholarship, after his father suffered a stroke. He then stepped up to take care of his family and the family store. After completing culinary school, Caitlyn returned to Sapphire Falls after her older brother, Bryan was severely injured in a bicycle accident. Eli’s best friends, Bryan and Ty, enlist Caitlyn’s help to kidnap Eli and take him to Kansas City where the San Diego Friars are holding open tryouts. They arrive at the hotel, realizing they are sharing a hotel room. Eli does well at the tryouts, being asked to pitch more than any other candidate, but that does not guarantee him a spot on the team. Caitlyn decides to cheer up Eli telling him they need to celebrate and the two go to a nearby bar for drinks and dinner. Caitlyn calls Bryan to make sure she's doing the right thing, a conversation Eli overhears. It turns out that Caitlyn is not the only one wanting the other one. Leaving the bar and returning to their hotel room the two end up going from friends to lovers. After returning from Kansas City, Caitlyn is determined to be Eli’s cheerleader. Just as we reach the end of this part of the story, Eli receives a call from the team and is to report to Kilby, Texas to play on the Friar’s Triple A team, the Kilby Catfish. I am very impressed with this collaboration. The plot was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I struggled with putting this book down! Now I can’t wait to find out what will happen to this relationship and how Eli will do with the Catfish.

This is Part 1 of a 3 part serial book but don't worry you don't have to wait long for the next part! Erin Nicholas and Jennifer Bernard's writing blends together perfectly! Caitlyn kidnaps Eli to take him to the baseball tryouts for the Kilby Catfish. She doesn't know that it will lead to one of the best nights of her life. Caitlyn is really sweet and Eli is just plain hot! This is a short and sexy read that will have you anxiously waiting for Part 2! I definitely recommend this book!

Loved it!!! Another home run by Erin NIcholas-this time with Jennifer Bernard. The more people I meet from sapphire falls, the more I want this series to go on forever! Eli and Caitlyn are great together, can't wait for part#2!

A crossover book from two of my favorite authors, Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas. Two of America's favorite past times, romance and baseball. Their two worlds collide Sapphire Falls meet Kilby Catfish Baseball. Loved the chemistry between Eli and Caitlyn. Caitlyn will not let Eli give up his dream of playing pro ball, even if it means kidnapping him, loved it. Add in that Eli is best friends with Caitlyn's brother, adds more to the story. This is only the first part of the story, part two and three will come a week apart from each other, at least not to long to wait. I'm now off to find my own shot of Jagermeister.

This book is a combination of the Sapphire Falls series and Love Between the Bases series and Eli Anderson and Caitlyn Murray are the stars. These two have chemistry in spades. You definitely won't be disappointed in the "friends to lovers" and "falling for your brother's best friend" combination scenario. Eli has a dream and it's Caitlyn's job to help him make it come true, even if she has to kidnap him to see it through. These two authors are brilliant when writing by themselves but writing together they are magnificent! Received a copy in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

What a way to start this series of books. What are you to do when your brothers best friend needs to be kidnapped for his own good? You kidnap him and take him to a baseball tryout of his dream. Parts 1-3 centers around Caitlyn Murray and Eli Anderson. Caitlyn works in a candy shop and Eli works in the hardware store that his family owns that he runs since his dad had a stroke. Eli left college and a promising baseball career to help his dad. Caitlyn's brother Bryan was in an accident in which he has to use a wheelchair part of the time. So Bryan enlist Caitlyn's help to get Eli to the tryouts. Caitlyn has a definite thing for Eli. Then they are in a room with two double beds. The sparks are going to fly. But would one night hurt their friendship? What if Eli makes the Kilby Catfish team? What if they want more? Read Read Read this book and the other parts. Don't leave yourself hanging. You will love getting to know these characters. Once you finish reading these books get some other books by Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas where you will meet other from Sapphire Falls and Kilby, Texas.

Just in time for baseball season a cross over book between two authors I love. Sapphire Falls and the Kilby Catfish come together to create the first part of a great three part series. Cait and Eli have been friends for a long time. Eli was a great baseball player in high school and college but had to cut his career short to come home and run the family business. Cait takes Eli on a trip to look at a car only to find out the trip is really a tryout for a baseball team. I can't wait to dig into Part 2 of this great friends to lovers book!!

Erin Nicholas and Jennifer Bernard hit it out of the park with this first collaboration between the two fantastic authors. Caitlyn has always had a thing for Eli but she's his best friend's little sister and as far as Eli is concerned that means she's off limits! That doesn't however in any way out a damper on the chemistry between the two. This is part one of three in this serial and you'll enjoy every page. Pick it up today and see the lengths Caitlyn will go to help Eli achieve his dream.

GET WOUND UP with Eli and Caitlyn!! Small town friends - Caitlyn "kidnaps" Eli to give him his chance at the Bigs, even though he thinks he should stay in Sapphire Falls and help his dad take care of their hardware store - his chance for the Bigs is over as far as he's concerned. But once out of town, can Caitlyn keep her crush on him to herself? And, dang, when did Caitlyn stop being his best friend's little sister and become a very attractive young woman? Eli pitches his heart out at the try-outs and then has to wait to see if he gets a call up. Meanwhile, Caitlyn tries to be a cheerleader with shots - and maybe much more. If he gets a call, could they make a go of a relationship or should they just stay friends??

He's her brothers best friend. She's the girl next door. Best of all? She believes in him. In his amazing abilities to play baseball...not just in Sapphire Falls but in the Major Leagues. So she teams up with her brother Bryan and their best friend Ty to kidnap Eli and get him to the open tryouts in Kirby. Where they are sharing a hotel room. Both of them have long hidden their desire for one another from their family and friends Erin & Jennifer have done such an amazing job joining these two worlds together. The writing is seamless. I'm so excited for these stories and to find out how it all ends.

This book combines two of my favorite book worlds, Sapphire Falls and the Kilby Catfish. Caitlyn is the little sister of Eli's best friend Bryan. In other words, completely off limits in his mind. Until Brian and his other friend Ty Bennett hatch a plan to get Eli to a tryout for the Friars baseball team. They can't take him there so they enlist Caitlyn to kidnap Eli and get him to the tryout. Eli gave up his baseball dreams to work in his father's hardware store once he got sick. His friends want him to chase those dreams instead. Caitlyn pushes him past his nerves to tryout. He thinks he failed his tryout. This part ends on a fantastic cliffhanger.

WOW! I have to say I love the idea of "brother's best friend and little sister" stories. They are awesome when written well. This one is awesome. The writing is excellent. The plot is engaging. I will say that I want more! I can't wait for parts 2 and 3. So yes a serial it does leave you waiting for more, but I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger, more like watching a TV series and it having "to be continued" and you have to wait a week to know more. Fans of Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas are going to love this one. It's such a great crossover novel. And those who haven't read Erin Nicholas Sapphire Falls won't be lost, but will be eager to read more of that series. The same with those who haven't read Jennifer Bernard's Love Between the Bases. You'll be eager to learn more about Caleb Hart and Mike Solo and OMG Trevor Stark........(okay so I have a minor crush on Trevor at this time.....his book will arrive soon).....Either way you will adore both the characters and the feelings this part one evokes. If you are new to both Erin Nicholas and Jennifer Bernard I feel GETTING WOUND UP, part one, is a great place to start. You to see a bit of both authors. I highly recommend this one and can't wait for pt 2. If you're read any of my previous reviews you know I'm not a fan of serials, but this one didn't leave me feeling like I didn't get a full story. It more or less just left me eager to read more of the story between these two. I want to know what happens next!

Getting Wound Up: A Sapphire Falls/Love Between the Bases Part one by Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas was a homerun for me. I love crossovers and with these two authors, all I can say is brilliant. I loved the characters so much fun to watch Eli and Caitlyn stories unfold. I can't wait for the second book. If you are a fan of Jennifer Bernard or Erin Nicholas you will not want to miss this series. I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Getting Wound Up is a collaborative effort between Jennifer Bernard and Erin Nicholas.. both of whom are accomplished authors in their own right…. But together they are great. I am a HUGE baseball fan so I knew I wanted to read this book as soon as I was able to. This is a fun book and will be released in three parts. Note: this review is for part one only. Eli and Caitlyn have known each other for a long time.. she is the younger sister of his best friend Bryan. She has had a crush on Eli since she was a little girl but never acted on because of his relationship with her older brother. Eli dreams of playing in baseball for a major league team but has put those dreams on hold to help out his dad after he had suffered a stroke. Caitlyn knows how much baseball means to him and, together with his friends, concocts a plan to “kidnap” him and get him to try out for a position with the Kilby Catfish, a minor league team. The kidnapping goes as planned but what Caitlyn did not count on was a sharing a bed with Eli and possibly seeing her dreams come true. Part One ends with Eli wondering if he is going to see his dreams realized. Will he be called up to play? Did his signature pitch “wow” the scouts? Make sure you read Part Two (released on 3/15) to find out! Disclaimer: I was gifted an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
