Bad things happen to everybody. This book had no prejudism of whether you were rich, poor, black, or white you go down if that is what you deserve. Whether you are innocent or guilty things will happen to you so you can build your character or crumble. If you want to read something real read this book. But I warn you it will sting a little.

I thought that the book had a good plot but it had alot of weak spots that my friends and I notices and it made the book boring. But this book did have alot of details which is what alot of street books be missing maybe a lil to much at times. The author has great potential though!!!!!!!!!!!

This book didn't make any sense @ all. First, it was the title that hooked me in, but this book ended up bring a total disappointment! I am just glad that I didn't waste my money on it, and it was borrowed. If you haven't read this book as of yet, you're not missing anything @ all. Don't read it unless you like being totally confused!!!

Ok. When I first heard about the book I was dying to read it. When I finally got the book I couldn't put it down. I was expecting a little more from the book. The ending to me didn't really make since, so hopefully Ghetto Girls II will be better.

WEll the book is very very good. It takes u on a ride. One thing i was confused about was the status of Coco and Da CRew. Otherwise the book jumped from scene to scene causeing u to think more about was was happening rather than sayin,'first she was here now she is there.' Things are not clearly laid out and the details in the entire book would have helped its stucture a lot more, or course the book would be bigger,

I thought that this book could have been so much better. The plot was great, but the story line was just all over the place. I thought that it was very choppy and quite confusing in certain places because the scenes just bounced from one place to the next and didn't exactly flow into each other. I do think that the author did a good job of portraying the characters and life on the streets, but overall, I don't think the book was really all that great, especially in comparison to other books that I have read dealing with the same content.

This story had much potential, but it probably would have been better if it were a script for a movie. There were times when it jumped from one scenario to the other. Some things are out of sequence it seems. Or maybe I'm just not ghetto enough?

If your not a ghetto girl, You wouldn't understand. This book was the realist one I had read since I learned how to read because it was so good. Sad what happened to Deja, Beebop, Cory and espicially Danielle but things like that happens when your raised by the streets. But fa sheezy Coco was tha realist and Da Crew woulda made it far if now for Lil Long and Vulcha but anyway Rightchus was tha man and Miss Katie got on my nerves. Coco momma was dumb and Kamilla was a ho. But to all my ghetto girls out there cop this book!

They title of the book really through me off. The title was of no relevance to the novel. I didn't like the book, it was a waste of time. I will not be reading the sequel.

I didn't like this book at all. The plot was all messed up and the story line was choppy. It was a waste of my time. I found myself reading paragraphs over because they didn't make sense .
