Warning Spoilers The main characters in this book are Carter and Denise. Carter is a boy and Denise is a girl. They are both teenages. The book opens up with Carter made because he has to watch Denise. Throughout the story they become friends. They both have an interest in a house where a murder took place. The setting for the book is a desert. It is set in modern days. The two teenagers have an adventure that takes them to many places. They do find out that the woman was murdered by her husband. His secretary lied for him and gave him an alibi. I would recommend this book because it was fun to read.
