Ghost, a C Model cyborg, has disconnected his machine from his human side. Severely damaged, he knows two things—the curvy human female on his ship belongs to him and he must keep her safe. He’ll stop at nothing to protect her, claim her, make her his.
Primitive. Damaged. Hers.
Lethe has seen the savage side of beings. The courageous Rebel captain has never met a male like Ghost. Overpoweringly dominant, he appeals to her on a primal level, filling her mind with thoughts of sweet surrender, hard kisses, and body-heating encounters against the warship’s walls.
They are two broken beings, one determined to protect, the other intent on flying into danger. Can love heal them both before they face their common enemy?

HEA, no cliffhanger. I love all of the books in the series but this is my fave! Ghost is a cyborg that finds redemption with Lethe. He literally chose to disconnect himself after too many horrors and only she can heal him. These two have such a great connection and this story is steamy!
I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't as long or quite as suspensful as others in this series, but it still had the compellingg love story and that depth of the previous books. I loved Ghost and really enjoyed his and Lethe's story. Their connection, her ability to understand him even though his ability to speak well was hampered, was beautiful. You know an author has done a great job with the character development when SO MUCH emotion can be expressed in just one or two words. And the cherry on top was the visit/update from some of our old cyborg friends, and how Ghost fit into the group. This was another great book in this series and I cannot wait for the next one!
I've read all of the previous books in this series and they just keep getting better and better. Great storylines, action and steam. Get them....you will not be disappointed.
