Maryland is "alive" with the deadghosts, haunted houses, and things that go bump in the day, as well as the night. This is a collection of twenty-five of the state's most fascinating accounts of the supernatural from the flatlands of the Eastern Shore to the mountains of western Maryland. You'll read ghost tales that are as varied as Maryland's topography. You'll meet characters like the infamous slave kidnapper, Patty Cannon, and the controversial Dr. Samuel Mudd. Whether or not you believe in ghosts, this little book will entertain, amuse, and (just maybe) raise a few goosebumps.

Very informative and interesting about many Historic Homes in Maryland, which some are still there and some are not. Made a trip to one, Patty Cannon's House in Reliance, Maryland, which is close to where I live. I was always fascinated with Ghosts and History. Combine the two, and I'm off on an adventure that I will never forget. Intend to visit other places mentioned in the Book and am happy to have it as part of my Ghostly Book Collection. Recommend this book to all who love adventure and Ghost hunting in Maryland and anywhere.
