This is a sweet story that was given to my sister before my niece was born. I didn't read the book until Katelyn had arrived, and it's power overwhelmed me. I felt as if God's voice was being heard through this amazing tale. I am buying it now for my best guy friend who is a new daddy. I'm sure it will become a treasured momento for their family as it has for ours.

The book,The Gift of an Angel, was one of my most favorite gifts that I recieved at my baby shower, two years ago. When I first read it, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I couldn't wait to read this story to my new baby! I love how you can make this book your own, with its fill in the blanks info. for baby's birth date, etc. I read this book to my daughter often. She just loves the colorful pictures and has fun pointing to and naming certain characters. To this day,I still shed a tear or two when I read this book to her. Your heart can't help but melt once you've experienced this heartwarming story. I buy this book for all my friends who are new moms to be.

I received this book as a gift over 6 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I cried every time I read it and attributed that to hormones. I now know it had nothing to do with hormones as I still get emotional when I read it today. The story is heartwarming and the illustrations pull you into the book. This book was my absolute favorite baby gift and I now give it to all my friends expecting their first child.

This is such a wonderful book. One of my best friends gave us this book after the birth of our first child and it moved me to tears! Now, it the first present WE give new parents. A child is a miracle and a gift of love and this book captures that.
