Oh where do I begin?! I absolutely loved this book from the plot to the characters created to the chemistry between Emma and Jameson it all just bleeds from the pages. I couldn't put it down, I finished in one sitting. Emma is sassy, independent, strong willed and has a don't give a crap attitude. But she is struggling with inner demons and the lack of her parents being emotionally present. Jameson is mysterious, moody, brooding and is sexy as hell. But he has secrets and things are about to take a turn for the worse. Geneva will have you on the edge of your seat, and guessing until the very end. This book is filled with so much anticipation. She will also leave you with your panties wet and begging for more and I mean that literally because there is a huge cliffhanger at the end. But don't panic the 2nd book will be here by the end of June. This is another must read by Geneva Lee!!

By Invitation Only by Geneva Lee is the first book in her new Gilt Series. Part of the blurb for the next book is a review from another author and it pretty much sums up this series for me... "Gilt is positively dirty, deadly, and delectable. Romeo and Juliet meets Pretty Little Liars in this unputdownable new series! Must read!" KA Linde, USA Today bestselling author It is sweet and romantic AND suspenseful and thought provoking. Neither of the main characters comes from happy home lives and the situations they endure together can either make or break them as a couple. I loved every page and every letter and the growing tension in not just the situation but between the characters was staged phenomenally well. Moving on to book two, Sin Never Sleeps to see just what trouble Emma and Jameson can get into next.

Emma Southerly is a junior at Belle Mere Prep School in Las Vegas, where she only has one best friend name Josie. It's the last day of school and Emma is not really looking forward to the summer; where she will spend a week with her mother in Palm Springs and help run her father's pawn shop.Josie, wanting to celebrate the end of the school, tells Emma that they will be going to a surprise party. Come to find out it's Monroe West's party; an enemy of Emma's for a few years. Emma is a girl still in grief from losing her sister Becca in a car accident (not a spoiler it's in the first chapter). She doesn't have the best family life, it's practically non-existent. Her best friend, Josie, has problems of her own, but in the end that is who Emma has, along with Josie's mother. Neither of the two have perfect lives, and they don't fit in with the Housers at their prep school. Emma's father owns a pawn shop and Josie's mother is an ex showgirl. This is my first read from this author and I wasn't disappointed in the least. Her characters are wonderful and are unique in their own way. The writing was fast paced and a page turner, with you wanting more to see what will happen next. I can't say that I have a favorite character because I love them all, well besides two, and I even like Monroe. Emma's and Josie's relationship I can relate to when I did have a best friend. I wish Emma will show Josie a little more concern when it involves her dating older guys. Because even at her age I feel like Emma would be worried about her best friend, especially how things are now. I guess you can say that's my only problem with this book. Now onto the man of the hour, Jameson West. Le sigh. Him and Josie are so cute together and I just want my own Jameson (insert crying emoji here). The scenes with them together, especially the last chapter (or second to last) was extremely hot and steamy. As for the murder, I have like three suspects and I'm pretty sure it's not neither of them and be someone I didn't expect at all. This book is so deliciously good and every sense of the word. From the plot, to the characters, to the dreamy Jameson. As someone said, if you like Pretty Little Liars (the show) you will definitely like this book.

I need book two now! Seriously, I love Emma, I want to hug Jameson, and I am hooked on this mystery romance! The cliffhanger ending gave me a chill and left me with even more questions than I had before. This is some great writing and I am impatiently waiting for the next book. I loved it. I was provided with a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

First of all, to be honest, I wasn't expecting that this book would be so good. At first, I thought it was just okay. I thought it would be just like other teen book. Until it got me so hooked on it. I loved it! I love how it was narrated like it was just talking straight to me. I love how the events happened. I love how simply it was written, I mean in a good way, because it was not a pressuring read. It was a light read, but it was a great read. I was so hooked on reading it that I read it in just one sitting; and even after reading it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE SECOND INSTALLMENT! If you're on a reading slump, I recommend that you read this. It's a page turner. It's fast paced. The story is really good. It's unique. I mean, it has romance and friendship and family and high school life blues and murder. Wow. It's a package, my dear. There's no reason for you not to read it. If you think that this is just the typical teenager book, IT'S NOT. It has a deeper sense. The way that family was shown in this novel is motivational. (I can't explain because I want to make this review spoiler-free. :P ) I recommend this book to EVERYONE.
