I tried the trial edition of this mag for my 9 year old, since the age range was noted as for ages 10 and up. I am SOOOOO glad I looked through it before I let her read through it on her own! Q&A's on unprotected sex!! I get that there should be experts for teens to ask such questions but a mag called "Girls' Life", really!!!! The whole mag is basically about boys, kissing, etc. Is that all we really have to instill in our girls but to wholly focus on sex and the opposite sex! Isn't there enough of this on any given day on (most) any given TV station/radio? My daughter loves Disney's "Shake it Up" so this was hard to tell her that I would let her look only at those pics/article but that there was NOTHING otherwise appropriate for any girl under 14.

I loved this one because it has the best quizzes and it is all about valentines day things like what a guy would like in u and where the would want in their first date. I loved it.

This is great, I've been reading GL all my life and I love love love it! My Dad gave me a Nook for my b-day so I can't wait to read GL on it now! They have the best advice and fashion tips! So excited!!!

I have been reading Girls' Life since I was in elementary school. My aunt bought me a subscription to the magazine and it is the best!! I was so excited when I got a Nook for Christmas because now I can read all of my favorite magazines on there. GL is my go to magazine for advice on boys, clothes, and makeup. I love it!!!
