I thought Give Me Chocolate was a great book, and I've read a lot of books this year. The author did a great job of grabbing your attention from the start and making you want more. I am very excited for the next book in this series!
The writing was excellent, but this read more like a romance than a mystery. It was interesting to get to know Kelly's family and to see her reunite with a past love; however, the mystery wasn't apparent until the last few chapters. I'm not saying it wasn't a good first novel, but I feel there should have been more tension regarding the mystery much earlier in the book.
