This WW2 novel for young adults is about 18-year-old Franco Paso's induction into the U.S. Army under the auspices of the early CIA. Franco is to receive spy training at a secret facility known as Glassey's Mountain. He will then be sent into Sicily under the cover of darkness to link up with family roots. He will track German and Italian troop movements, equipment, and bases as preparation for the Allied invasion led by General Patton.
