About the Author

Dr Quamrul Alam is Senior Lecturer, Department of Management at Monash University in Melbourne Australia. Quamrul lectures in strategic planning, strategic management and international business. His research and teaching interests include the internationalisation of business, globalisation, business clusters, supply chain management, corporate social responsibility and public-private partnerships.

Dr Mesbahuddin Chowdhury is Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship, University of Canterbury. He formerly served as Research Fellow in the Department of Accounting, Monash University, Australia. Dr. Chowdhury’s current research interests focus on the role of social capital in buyer-supplier relationship and the impact of supplier management practice on performance improvement. He has been published in peer-reviewed journal such as International Journal of Production Economics. He published a number of book chapters in Cases in Business and Management.
