About the Author

Heather Widdows is Professor of Global Ethics at the University of Birmingham, UK. She is Lead Editor of the Journal of Global Ethics and author of Global Ethics: An Introduction (Acumen, 2011). She has also published widely on issues of global justice and global ethics.

Nicola J. Smith is Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Birmingham, UK. She has published a variety of articles on globalisation and social justice and is the author of Showcasing Globalisation: The Political Economy of the Irish Republic (Manchester University Press, 2005).
