This is a great book of recipes using almond flour that has less carbohydrate than rice flour. The recipes are outstanding. It is a must have book for people who have gluten sensitivity. The recipes are easy to make. Amsterdam also discusses the ingredients and where to purchase them for great results. I have shared cupcakes with other people who avoid gluten and they love them too!

The sample for this book is 5 pages long! One page is blank, two have the name of the cookbook, and two have photos! I'd like to have seen at least one recipe before I purchased the book!

All the recipes look fantastic! Even though my family is not on a special diet, through lots of research, I was curious to see if these  gluten free cupcakes really were as good ad they looked. And I have to say so far it's all true. I've only made one recipe from the book: the cinnamon crumb muffins and my family flipped out! They thought it was the "real" thing. I'm looking forward  to making several more, especially the banana split cupcake!

Sometimes it's especially nice to use only one or two flours instead of the usual various blends of gluten free baking of which each cookbook has it's own version(s). Really like the savory cupcakes. They may a nice change from the often dry gluten free bread.
