Very helpful to those vegans starting gluten free. Totally revolutionised my digestion. No more heartburn.

Some really good ideas that can be adapted even for those of us who are GF SF (soy free)

I'm currently taking steps into the world of veganism & I am not able to eat gluten...so when I saw this book I grabbed it immediately! I've only tried a few recipes so far and they were delicious! Reading through gets me extremely excited! I've always loved vegetables and have always concocted my own things through the years...but I see such a variety of combinations here I have never tried! My mouth waters just reading the recipes! I can't wait to try them all!!

I have a lot of raw/vegan/gluten-free cookbooks. What I like about this one is the simplicity of the ingredients and the quick preparation time. Many books have so many ingredients (many of which I can't find) and several steps that it's overwhelming. This book contains recipes that are totally do-able and are quick to prepare. Great, especially if you have kids.

I recently learned that I have an allergic response to both dairy products AND gluten. I looked at many cookbooks and was very disappointed. The gluten-free recipes had dairy in them and the dairy-free recipes had gluten. Thank heaven I found Sophie Miller and her vegan cook books! The recipes are absolutely delicious and easy to prepare. And I'm learning that I can actually eat and enjoy dishes that are both gluten-free and dairy-free. Sophie Miller has written several cookbooks and I bought them all. I have served the recipes past my family without mentioning they are "different". My family loves them! Thanks a million, Sophie! Your recipes are wonderful and they are helping me heal.

I went vegan 4 years ago for two reasons: milk products were causing my allergies and asthma to worsen and two, I live in the countryside and I adore animals and so eating them was just not compatible with my beliefs. When I was 16, I went on the Candida diet which also excludes gluten, yeast, wheat and sugar - I was keen to get back to the Candida way while staying Vegan and so this book was a very helpful buy for me. I used to be able to eat bread, but I hear that these days bread is 50% gluten due to modern baking methods and to be honest I cannot digest the stuff and pasta is also way to heavy for me. I find that I stay thin with these recipes no matter how much I eat and everyone remarks on how lovely my skin looks - I have even given up wearing foundation every day as I don't need it. Having healthy vegan snacks in and ready to eat is super advice as snacking is the big conundrum when you are vegan and gluten free. Wonderful smoothie and muffin recipes; the cinnamon cranberry oatmeal is now a staple of mine. What bliss to have so many MILK and CREAM FREE soup recipes which still have a creamy texture. Quinoa burgers and coconut veg curry as well - delicious! So much in here..very impressed..wondering if there is a paperback available for my Mom.
