Rev Stephen Forfer, a native of predominantly-Catholic New Orleans, Louisiana was a 1975 alumnus of Jesuit High School and a 1979 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. After years in secular vocation, in 1991 God called him to the Gospel Ministry attending New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS), graduating in 1995 with a Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies. He was Pastor of Southern Baptist churches in Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as Interim-Pastor of several others, seeing souls gloriously saved, baptized and discipled in God's Holy Word, the Bible! He was chosen to serve as a member of NOBTS' Presidential-Search Committee that recommended President Charles Kelley, and prior to ministry-call was Chapter-President of Mississippi Right-To-Life (Warren County). As a six year old boy in 1963, God planted a seed in his life for future salvation and ministry call as he silently oversaw his beloved mother crying over "some decision about school prayer"! When he later asked why she wept, her life-changing reply was the seed God would use to help gloriously save him in 1982 and heed God's call to ministry in 1991.
