God Is in the Small Stuff by Bruce Bickel, Stan Jantz

God is a big God.

So big. . .that He fashioned the entire glorious world we live in. So big. . .that He orchestrates the wild dance of planets and universes we’ve yet to explore. So big. . .that he cares about even the seemingly ordinary little details of your life.

Because those “small things” really matter: What you said this morning to your spouse. . . . How you spend your extra money. . . . When you chose a moment to lift a coworker’s sagging spirits. . . . Who you are when no one’s looking.

God is in the little details like these. That’s where you’ll find Him, encouraging you, challenging you, cherishing you. That’s where you’ll find Him inviting you to stop worrying and start living. That’s where you’ll find Him, revealing His love for you.

Bruce and Stan show you where to look.

For Me, words are somtimes hard to express how this book inspired me and filled my soul with joy. This remarkable collaborative work by Bruce and Stan had to be assigned by God. The experience was like God givng me a help mate. Whenever, I felt disconnected to my surroundings. I suddenly heard the word of God say 'Girl!, here I am, there is no need to wallup in this mess'. Your help is here. Now believe and receive it, and watch it work. This is what I felt when I started reading this book. I was so overwhelmed with how I picked up the right book during times I was weak. Whenever, my fuel is low, I immediately think of where I need to re-fuel. So, I start thinking about the small stuff and how God loves you and I through it all. I would like to meet Bruce and Stan one day or perhaps have either of them write me. Because I truly feel as though God wanted them to get through me. If anyone out there feels as if he or she cannot be helped, then try this, God loves you, so let him tell you perosnally in the (details) in your life. You will see things differently. Now! go and purchase the book. Remember to write me and tell me how God has made a difference in your life. By the way, the Bible is the greatest source of his word. Nevertheless, he works through others to share the extent of what he has already reminded us of, his truth. This book is just a wonderful source of his love at all times. Yours truly, sg Houston,Tx

Teachers, preachers, friends, co-workers, parents, bus drivers, mail carriers¿they are all hard to shop for. I now know what I am getting them for Christmas next year. God Is In the Small Stuff is a great one-gift-for-everyone book. Each devotion is meant to take only one minute to read, but they will be thought provoking for much longer. A scripture reference is at the bottom of each page. Not all of the devotions are spiritually motivating. Some focus on the mental and physical aspects of us all.
