Overview

God Loves Trailer Trash is about God's grace, mercy, forgiveness, and love for all people that believe in Jesus regardless of what society thinks of them.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

It doesn't say only those in country clubs or live in gated communities but anyone who believes in him. So so-called trailer trash are just as treasured as those people, maybe more.

About the Author

Connie was born in Washington State, lived in Idaho for forty-one years, then recently moved to Florida with her husband, Darris, and her two Yorkshire Terriers, Muffy and SiSi.

Connie and Darris have been married thirty-nine years and have five children between them. They have fourteen grandchildren but no great-grandchildren yet.

Connie has had three major surgeries in the last year for a broken hip, complications of the broken hip, and back surgery. She is now recovering nicely.

She and her husband are very active in the New Day Christian Church and volunteer on several projects. She was a leader in the Shower Ministry that gives the homeless a meal, shower, haircut, and new clothes. She has recently been unable to volunteer for this because of her broken hip.

In the Cookie Ministry, she and her husband deliver cookies to new attendees along with a welcome to New Day. She helps in the Food Ministry, delivering meals when needed after a surgery or during an illness.

She said, “It still brings tears to my eyes when I remember our blessed time in the trailer park. We keep in contact with some of the people we met, but some we have lost track of but still pray for each of them every night.”
