In this energetic board book, author Gary Bower takes children on a tour of God’s colorful creation. Each spread groups objects by color, such as yellow dandelions, a shining sun, and chirping finches; and brown squirrels, trees, and crunchy nuts. Color-soaked illustrations and bubbly, playful text will make the book a read-aloud favorite. Parents will love this educational board book that teaches little ones about colors and the God who created them.
About the Author
Gary Bower fell in love with picture books at an early age, sitting in his mother’s lap. As a youngster he entertained himself for hours by writing his own stories, jokes, poems, and skits. As an adult, his years of professional and volunteer experience ministering to children and teens, combined with thousands of story nights with his children, have helped him polish his storytelling skills.
Nothing makes Tracy Cottingham happier than creating pictures and patterns. While illustrating books is her ultimate joy, Tracy also loves collecting bright and shiny treasures found at flea markets. She can usually be found working at her desk, sipping coffee, and chewing on gummy candy. Tracy lives and works in London.

This is a wonderful children's board book that is great to teach children their colors. It has a good story and fantastic illustrations. I especially love the frogs. I received this book from Worthykids for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
Never to soon to start sharing our Loving God with our children, and these two little books designed for your toddler to preschooler, made of sturdy cardboard. Each page is full of beautiful, colorful illustrations, and geared to draw your little ones eyes to it, then a loving, thoughtful message aimed to share your faith with your child. Along with sharing God’s blessings you are also teaching colors to the little one. A book that will be read many times, and can be safely carried around by little hands. I received this book through the Publisher WorthKids/Ideas, and was not required to give appositive review.
Gary Bower continues to amaze me with his ability to create wonderful children's books. His rhyme is terrific and his gift for connecting each color with objects or critters wonderful. The rhythm of his verses is lovely and indicates a good grasp of creating verse that is without complications and catchy enough that it will engage the young listener. Happy, playful bluebirds fly through a clear and cloudless sky. That's what bluebirds love to do. God, our maker, paints them BLUE. The bright, colorful illustrations are charming and sure to please. I absolutely love God Paints the World and highly recommend it for young readers or listeners. Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy from the publisher to facilitate this review.
