This book is just plain fantastic on so many levels. Every baby boomer woman should read it right now and give a copy to their daughters. It will open your mind to your life, health, vitality, spirituality and fuel business ideas. I keep telling my friends about it and wanting to buy every girlfriend a copy! I chose to listen to it during my commuting time and now I'm buying a digital copy to have as a reference. You'll never take yourself for granted again if your read this book. I actually think this book is really good for men too. While the health ideas are coached more toward a woman's body, the wisdom applies in a large part to all bodies. From a spiritual and psychological perspective, there's a lot of insight for all and a real opportunity for men to understand many women's perspective points better.

This is the best self help book for women getting older I have ever read.  It is well written, inspirational and informative. We have to define ourselves as useful and vibrant. Buy it, read it and live by it. Dr. Northrup is very witty and a great story teller.  She redefines aging in a way that says time is not running out. What a positive way to live until I breath my last breath on this earth.

‘Goddesses Never Age’ written by Christiane Northrup M.D. is a well-written book full of life wisdom, an interesting self-help title about achieving happiness in years when others see us as not so young any more – fighting the inevitable but still having so many reasons to feel good in our bodies and fully enjoy every day of life before us.

Still reading.... this is really good info. Much of it I am already in tune with, but its great to know that a medical doctor is putting in print things I have believed for many years. I love the positive reinforcement I'm finding in this book as well as the new ideas I'm finding here. I am already recommending this book to my family and friends.

so happy to have this wonderful book as a reference. I already felt pretty good about aging but this book makes it feel like a very special -- radiant time.

Unfortunately it appears Dr. Northrup is not happy with her aging.   I saw her at the PBS filming and clearly she has had work done.    She told us never to tell our age.  Why can't she say age does not define and that  she is 67.   67 does not have to mean  nothing to give instead so much to give.   Also did not agree with her "NEVER accept a sr. discount" as it is demeaning and means you can't afford it.  Again her discomfort with age comes up.

3/17/15 Dear Dr. Northrup: Even though I'm just started reading your latest book (Goddesses Never Age:  The Secret Prescription for Radiance, Vitality, and Well-Being).  In which I tried to watch your special/talk on PBS, but stop after awhile.  I find thats it mostly good in most areas (beyond peri/menopause and aging in general). Then there are other areas where I find that are lacking in and/or not thoroughly enough.  Especially including these areas as well (beyond birth control/contraception).  I mean all of the reviews said its for all ages as opposed to being age/s specific.  At the same time I'm all for this MFL (Mainstream Family Living). But then I'm also all into NFL (Natural Family Living) as well.  Including FAM (Fertility Awareness Method) and beyond that as well.  I never read your other books and/or beyond.  Either it/they weren't geared toward me and/or the small print size being a problem for me.  In which I'm really not even sure if they are worth to the reads and/or watch because they are alike all of the others out there. Think thats it for now. Thank you, again, in advance. Yours truly, Jessica A Bruno (waybeyondfedup)
