"God's Spirit in the Heart of Every Child," is a collection of three timeless short stories. "I'm Looking For God - I couldn't find him in my dictionary," was inspired by my six-year-old as he looked for "god" in his children's dictionary. The little boy searches and searches, but he cannot find God out there anywhere. Finally, after becoming quiet and still, he finds God's spirit in his heart and this changes everything.
"God, What Should I Be When I Grow Up? - God's gifts and His spirit within us," is about the Bird of Inspiration, an analogy of the Holy Spirit, whose qualities point us toward our gifts, purpose, and freedom.
"What Makes God Smile Makes Us Strong - Allowing God to work through us," teaches to box up and surrender all of the useless things that separate us from our Creator, freeing us to do His will and make Him smile.
Our next generation of hearts... Endless possibilities indeed.

About the Author
In 1999 Michele embarked on the decade that transformed her life. She and her husband David are blessed with three precocious sons. Michele became inspired to write as she pondered how to successfully speak spiritual truth into these young hearts and minds. Our children will grow up in an unprecedented scientific and technological world. While science offers the marvel of discovery, she also wants our next generation to realize and utilize the grace and power offered in God's two great spiritual laws of love. Michele published her first children's book, "God's Spirit in the Heart of Every Child," in the spring of 2010. Her work appears in the "Write for Charity" Parenting Anthology published May, 2010. Michele's blog and website can be found at www.nextgenerationhearts.org.
It has been said, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Michele must have been ready because she was graced with the appearance of three. A.J., Kyle, and Joshua, are her greatest teachers.

This book is an excellent way to teach children about what it really means to have a relationship with God. The book gives material appropriate for young, searching minds ready for spiritual growth and a better understanding of how to live a life with God at the center. As the author points out, if we are able to encourage and teach our children to follow God and line up with His will, the possibilities are endless. This book allows God's word to be accessible to children, and tells stories of discovering how to talk to God and trust Him with our feelings and our future. Each story focuses on concepts I pray my child grows up believing and knowing to be true. I am so grateful this book exists as it is a way children can begin to grasp the two Great Commandments of God! I am going to order a book for each of my friends who have children as I feel it is that wonderful!!
