Sports romances are always interesting, but baseball is my favorite sport so I was really excited about reading this one. Jason is a ballplayer on the tail end of his career. Before his injury, his talent made up for his bad attitude. Now he is fighting to find a place anywhere and it is an uphill battle. The Knights are desperate for a veteran player, and make him a deal, but he has to play by their rules. Stacia is an image consultant who is a good girl trying to live up to her father's expectations. When the candidate she is working with gets caught going against recommendations, her father has her removed from the campaign. Fed-up with her good-girl image, she picks a handsome man and goes against type and has a one-night stand, sneaking out without a word. When her new job with the Knights is improving the image of their new player, she is more than a little surprised to find that her one-night stand is her assignment. Jason was a really hard guy to like. He really was a jerk, and didn't care what anyone thought of him, nor did he really care about anyone but himself. I liked that Stacia grew a backbone when it came to her father, but I found it hard to understand why she put up with Jason for most of the story. I enjoyed the baseball aspect of the story, and it had a fun cast of secondary characters. This is the first of a new series, so I am interested in seeing where the author takes us next. *I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Going all the Way by Megan Ryder was a good sports romance. The first I have read of it's kind. It's a great beginning to the story, and it just takes off from there. It was well written with great rounded characters and a great setting. Loved all about it.

When a secret gets out about the political candidate that Stacia Kendall is working with, she loses her job. Her best friend is there to pick up the pieces and takes Stacia out for drinks to help her blow off steam. When Stacia spots a lone man in the bar, she sets her eyes on him and makes her move and they end up back at his hotel room. The most amazing night of her life was also her biggest mistake. Jason Friar is ready to put his past behind him and play baseball again. When he is accepted by the Georgia Knights, he is told he needs to keep a clean image and focus solely on the game. Jason is told he will be working with an image consultant. He had no idea it would be the woman that he just had a one night stand with. This was an entertaining book with two characters who are total opposites. Stacia is a good girl and Jason is the stereotypical bad boy jock. I thought the author did a good job bringing these two characters together and the rest of the story.

I enjoyed this fun story and the fight within to do the right thing to stay true to yourself. Stacia is let go from a job, so she and her bestie hit a bar, where she picks up Jason. They have a great one night stand, and then run into each other the following day at Stacia's new job. While they had some ups and down, I would have liked to had a stronger connection between them. I enjoyed the sports angle of the story, even though I am not a baseball fan. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

"Going All the Way" by Megan Ryder is book one in the "Knights of Passion" series. This is Jason Friar and Stacia Kendall's story. Stacia is working with a political candidate and secrets get out to the press so she loses her job. Jason's reputation has just about killed his chances of having a comeback as a major league baseball player. Stacia and her friend go out for drinks. Stacia has decided that she is tired of doing what is right. So tonight she is going to take risks. This is where Jason comes in. He is in the same bar not happy that there is only one major league baseball team that is interested in him. Stacia doesn't know who he is. She decides he is the one that she is going to take chances with. Stacia ends up having a one night stand with Jason. After losing her political campaign job Stacia is told that she has a job helping a baseball team repair a reputation of one of their players. So, this is where things really begin to get really interesting. Jason and Stacia are opposites and I loved watching their relationship develop. If you love a great story with hot intimate scenes, then you will want to pick this one up. I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review.

Bright lights and big dreams lead to broken hearts. With success on their minds and hope in their hearts, Jason and Stacia set out to follow dreams, but in hindsight the reality proved harder to take than the fantasy. Sports stories are not usually my forte. However, I am becoming more enamored of them with every chance that I take on one. Going All The Way is more than just a sports story. It's a journey of faith, redemption and love. I enjoyed Stacia's strength of character and determination. The perfect female heroine. NEVER GIVE UP, is the message and Ms. Ryder's characters practiced what they preached. With little motivation, a bit of inspiration and the heart of a champion, anything is possible.

Given an ARC for voluntary review for netgalley. This was an ok book, poor Stacia was used as a scapegoat in a political campaign and now is out to prove to her horrible father that she has what it takes to keep her job. She goes out with her friend to unwind and ends up having a one night stand. Then we have Jason a baseball player who needs to clean up his act and work on his career, but the team decide he needs someone to watch him, make sure he does that. Ends they were each other's one night stand, they were taboo for each other yet couldn't stay away. even though both had issues to work out. Eventually they do.

All the way for sex and anyway, anyplace, anytime. What about the emotional investment? There was good and bad. There were highs and lows. This duo has much to gain and lose with their coming together. Its go all in or go down trying. Jason had a problem and Stacia has one but she was going to use Jason to fix her problem. While of course working on his problem. They both had things to work through to make this sexy, passion filled romance more than what it appeared to be from the outside. Megan Ryder gave me a reason to see image consultants in a different light. As for professional ball players cliche behavior comes to mind. Stacia puts it all on the line. Ryder made her strong, independent, and self-assured. **This ARC was provided via Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review.**

Jason is looking for second chance in his career and Stacia is trying to prove herself in her career as well as trying to prove to her father she can do it alone. He wants her to do things his way and she wants control of her job and life. The author gives you a wonderful plot of two people who are total opposites. They each have some major issues they must deal with and get over. The chemistry is powerful and they have some very steamy sex scenes. They both use each other to get what they need in return they fall hard now they must work out the hard things to make this a love that will last. I found this to be a book that had a great plot that was written well. At times it was very humorous and found myself chuckling. Both of these characters find themselves to be in a tight place one trying to get control out from under a controlling parent and the other needs to get control of his bad ways to keep him on top of his game and career Book Obsessed Chicks Review

Jason Friar is an almost has-been baseball player and Stacia Kendal an image consultant out to prove herself. This was an all around good story with a bit of everything - fun, humor, steamy and a emotional angst that they each must deal with before they can find their happily ever after.

I enjoyed this one. The writing is good, the characters were interesting, and it had a nice flow. It's a light easy read that was very entertaining. Both the MC are working to redeem themselves in their respective careers. Jason Friar is working on resurrecting his baseball career after landing with the Georgia Knights. He's struggling though, for the first time he is the old guy and needs to be a leader on the team. He's not exactly sure how to do this. After being part of a losing political campaign, image consultant Stacia Kendall is working hard to repair Jason's reputation. She needs this to work to prove to herself and her overbearing father that she has what it takes. The attraction between Stacia and Jason may be more than her heart can handle though. I would definitely recommend this one.
