This was a cute story about some not so perfect characters and their quest for loving each other. Carly puts together the right mix of steamy romance and just enough trials the characters have to go through in order to find love. Great summer read!!

There was a nice storyline with terrific suspense. I like that this author gave a realistic amount of depth to each character and found thus to be well written.

This was a hot, sexy, sweet, emotional romance about two people who are perfect for each other and fill the voids left by other people in their lives. Emotional family issues and the bonds of friends and family that keep us strong during the lowest points of life. Kaden Barnes is a extremely hot alpha male with very specific needs and wants out of a PA and a strong aversion to trusting women. (his past is so heart breaking) Lexie Parker is a sexy, sweet woman with a caring and giving nature that has lost her chosen profession and is desperate for a job. Her sister is her first priority and has been for many years (how she lost her job) both her mother and sister are in need of care and treatment. All the while you are wondering if they can have a real relationship with her family and his current business issues and on going needs. Overall it was a very interesting, entertaining and enjoyable adventure and I look forward to reading more from this group.

This could have been much better. The storyline is decent, but the writing itself is subpar and the story lacks depth and nuance.

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5 Carly Phillips does it again! I mean really is there anything this lady can't write about it and make it a fantastic read? The characters in this book not only had the boss vs. employee issue, the new relationship exploration, but also mental illness in a couple different forms to wreak havoc. Kudos to Ms. Phillips for allowing the natural drama in these situations to present themselves without ramping it up and making it so angsty it's hard to read. That is probably my biggest annoyance in any book. I hate forced and unnecessary drama. Carly Phillips navigates through these potential pitfalls like the professional she is. Kaden Barnes was a troubled, yet sexy and strong character. His anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders didn't make him weak in the slightest. Actually, I admired his strength and bravery through just about everything life threw at him. He was a loyal friend and a fantastic lover to Lexie. The sparks between this couple sizzled, but the easy going relationship and mutual respect definitely took a front seat to everything else. They just kind of found one another and slipped right into a comfortable routine. Lexie Parker was amazing! The poor woman spent her whole life thrown into a caretaker role one way or another. Her mother suffered from depression and then her twin sister was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Since her father catered to their mother Lexie was left as her sister's keeper. This role definitely affected her personal and professional life, but Lexie never held it over her sister's head. At first when she met Kaden my fear was that Lexie shouldn't be thrown into another role as someone's keeper, but I feel like Ms. Phillips did a good job at proving Kaden's ability to care for himself. Yes, he had a certain way he wanted things and he had staff take care of this, but he had the money to provide this luxury so I don't blame him. All in all this book was a great start to the Billionaire Bad Boys series. I'm looking forward to reading more about Kaden's partners and learning of their stories.

I loved this book!!! I am such a huge fan of Carly Phillips the only bad thing was I have been so busy at work I wasn't able to read as much as I would normally have. I loved the characters in this story and their devotion to the friends and family. The story moved at a fast pace and wasn't already pretty but relationships never are. This story can be read as a stand alone book and has a great HEA!!! There is also an epilogue which I always love and appreciate. Get this book you won't be disappointed. Carly Phillips please keep the great stories coming!!!

Sacrifice. It's all about sacrifice for Lexi Parker. She's sacrificed her personal life and her professional one all in the name of love for her severely depressed twin sister. Lexi's life is difficult enough but when she starts her new job working for Kaden Barnes, software billionaire, it gets a tiny bit harder. It's especially difficult when sparks fly whenever they're in the same room. Great storyline! Fabulous and well developed characters. It's full of personal challenges, family hurdles and love. Fantastic as always from this amazing author! Received a copy via RockStarLit in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

I really enjoyed this story...people can overcome crazy problems and make it work. I love Kade and Lexie's story and how they over came the obstacles that they both had.

Not an original story line... Millionaire boss can't keep an assistant because of his demanding ways but Carly Phillips writes a cute and fast moving story.. Lexie comes into a job with a mentally challenged mother and a bi polar twin sister and both provide twists to the story that make it unique... Her "at home" experiences suit her for her new boss and his temperament and make the story a quick read... Turns out he is really a great guy...

Carly Phillips is on fire with the start of this new Billionaire Bad Boys series! It’s super steamy, filled with drama, and just plain fun to read! Quirky and demanding, billionaire Kaden Barnes can’t keep a personal assistant … until Lexie Parker walks in the door. Organized, peppy and feisty enough to hold her own with a domineering boss, Lexie fits right in and has him organized in no time. Kaden can’t deny that Lexie is the best PA he’s ever had … but he also can’t deny that she has been starring in his dirty, sexy fantasies ever since he first laid eyes on her! When business, personal and family issues arise, will they be able to face them together and still be standing at the end of it?

Kaden is shocked to find his partners have hired him a new assistant, Lexie. She does not take anything from anyone. If only she didn't make him hot. Lexie is thrilled to have a new job. She just hopes her past and secrets stay there. In the past. Now if she could just forget how hot her boss looked today in a towel.... Either dropping wet or totally dry, these two are hot for each other. With flirty conversation or totally hot looks, this is a couple who are falling hard. I enjoyed this book and cannot wait to see what new stories are coming next! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

Going Down Easy by Carly Phillips is the first book in her new Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book is so different than your normal billionaire series and office romances which I think is one of the reasons I fell in love with it so much. Kaden Barnes is sexy, witty geeks who, along with his two best friends from college, have turned their love of technology into a billion dollar company. They are on their way to releasing the next new thing in cell phone apps and once their app goes public they will be worth billions. The only thing in their way is their ex-partner and friend who is suing them for a stake in the company. Kaden needs a personal assistant to help keep his office and life running smoothly while fighting the lawsuit and putting the finishing touches on the app. The only problem is Kaden’s moodiness and quirks have a tendency to run off every assistant they hire for him. That is until he meets his match both in and out of the office. Lexie Parker’s life is a chaotic mess. Being the caregiver to her twin sister that is bipolar has taken a huge toll on her emotionally and financially. She has found herself putting her whole life on hold until such a time her sister can be on her own. When she lands a new job as personal assistant Kaden Barnes she is excited and wanting to put her best foot forward. She has heard the rumors about him being difficult to work with and running through PA’s on a weekly basis but what she wasn’t prepared for is the gorgeous man with troubling green eyes. Kaden’s and Lexie’s office relationship is not your typical one. While he is her boss and is entitled to respect she will not let him intimidate her nor will she take any crap from him. Kaden loves how Lexie is unafraid to set him straight and the way she keep him organized and on track is something that makes him start seeing his beautiful new PA as something more than a co-worker. The closer these two get the more they have in common, most importantly mental illness. Overall, this book was a quick and easy read. Full of emotion and heart, this story will make us all want to find our very own Kaden to come in and sweep us off our feet. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romance story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series! I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

This book. This book. This book. GAH! This book has given me a book hangover. I can't exactly explain why. Carly Phillips always writes an outstanding novel. I am pretty sure I've read every book and novella she's ever published, but this one is just a little deeper and a little more fascinating. It was real. It was emotional. And it was everything I didn't know I needed to read to get out of my book funk. We've all read the alpha billionaire before, but Kade is different. He's hotter, he's sweeter, and down right delicious to read. Then you have Lexie, and I swear to high heavens she is a no BS kind of heroine that I LOVE to read. No push over here. Whatever Kade gives her she delivers right back in the ten-fold. And together their chemistry is more than explosive and their witty banter had me cry-laughing. Yet, to the antithesis of the eroticism and hilarity is a darker side to both of these characters. They both have families that failed to step up to the plate, and left Kade and Lexie holding a lot of baggage. However, true to both of their natures they made it work and fought the good fight. When Lexie comes to work for Kade they finally decide they both deserve to be selfish and give in to this powerful energy that's sparking between them. But nothing ever goes as planned and what commences is a wicked web of "I really didn't see that coming" and some great big emotional slaps to the face. Going Down Easy is an epically perfect blend of romance and gritty real-life. No punches were pulled and the world of these three billionaire bad boys made me gasp in anticipation for its continuance. It will be pretty hard to top Kade though. He pretty damn well set the bar immeasurably high, but I can't wait to see Lucas and Derek try. At the end of the day this book is a MUST READ for me! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*
