Going Down Hard (Doing Bad Things, #1) by Jordan Marie

I’ve only loved one man in my life.

Gavin O’Leary.

He destroyed me.

Not because he loved me.

Not because he hated me.

But because he had no idea who I was.

He was the popular guy with the chiseled abs, dark tan and perfect hair.

The type that only dated the perfect-ten, cheerleader.

I was the nerd who hated high school and couldn’t wait to say goodbye.

The last thing I expected was to see him again twelve years later.

Only this time—he notices me.

This time—he kisses me.

This time saying goodbye to Gavin O’Leary might destroy me.

Kind of short. Gavin is a jerk at first. But comes around later.

Yes, this is a shorter book by Jordan Marie. But it is a wonderful story. A story about young love never dealt with and when the two meet again things are a lot different. Casey is trying to make her way through Hollywood doing makeup for the actors.Gavin is stunt devil to his friend Aden when he bumps into Casey. These two are wonderful characters and I loved this story.

Gavin Great second chance romance that will leave you salivating for the next one in what will turn out to be a series that you could read over and over again. Casey to me is your typical high school girl when the book starts off who has a crush on the star athlete (Gavin) but he never seems to notice her until the final dance which leaves her with memories to last a lifetime. Fast forward they bump into each other and it takes Gavin running into her twice before he realizes who she is. He's smitten but she still has unresolved issues in her head that prevents her from breaking down her walls. Too bad Gavin know what he wants and stops at nothing to get it. I loved this book the characters are relatable and the storyline was hilariously funny and leads us into book 2 which I am most definitely looking forward too. This is a book you don't want to miss SO PICK IT UP its worth it!!!!

Love Love!! Casey Langley has spent most of her life fading into the woodwork especially in school. Until prom night...her one defining moment with him on the high school football field. Gavin O'Leary popular, star football player a guy who dates the who's who of high school girls. A one time meeting with the cute little red head who he dubbed moth- girl set him on path to follow his dream. 12 years and one colition later they cross paths again and its hawt! I love that the author wrote the herione as a curvy girl. I love all Ms.Maie's books hell she could write a book on how to Sh*t properly and I would read it!!

I love this book.. I love the witty banter between the characters.. ....Casey is feisty, and doesn't hold back.. ....Gavin is smooth, until he "runs" into Casey again.. Funny and swoon worthy, and of course some intense steamy scenes!!!

Oh wow! I just LOVED Gavin and Casey! They had this spark the first time they met and the fire they have later is amazing!! The back and forth banter, the laughs, and the heat makes for a fantastic read with characters you are going to love. I am looking forward to Aden's story and really hope we get some more of Titan! I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I freaking love everything Jordan Marie writes and this book is no exception!!! From the very beginning, I didn't want to put it down. I HAD to know what Casey and Gavin were going to do next. I adored the characters, even Gavin with his crudeness and his outrageous ego. Casey kept her sassiness from her teen years and that just made me love her more. And the fact that this story tied in to Jordan Marie's Lucas Brothers series was an extra dollop of whipped cream on my JM sundae!!! Jordan Marie has become one of my absolute favorite authors and I look forward to each new book with bated breath!!! If you haven't read her books yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?????

"GOING DOWN HARD" by Jordan Marie Another 5 seat read by the wonderful author, Jordan Marie. Casey has had a mad crush on Gavin throughout her school years. But unfortunately, Gavin has no idea who she is. One night at their high school prom they finally meet. The conversation is going a little slow as she is having a hard time finding her voice. Once she is able to start speaking they really seem to like each other and everything is going well....until his high school girlfriend and prom date starts looking for him. Gavin walks away from Casey never to see her again......until 12 years later. This book is hilariously funny and the sassy mouth on Casey is a complete turn on for the oh so sexy Gavin. I love their banter, but they also have their serious get to know you moments. Great chemistry between all of the characters in this book. Funny, sexy, sweet, conniving....you'll find it all here. So if you're looking for a great rom-com, you've got to read this book. This is book one of the "Doing Bad Things" series. Enjoy your read !

This is one of the most fun books that I've read in a long time. Jordan Marie has done it again. This first book in the new Doing Bad Things Series focuses on Gavin and Casey who haven't seen each other since high school 12 years ago. Despite Casey having a huge crush on Gavin throughout school, Gavin only remembers Casey as Moth-Girl, the girl who advised him on prom night to follow his football dreams instead of his parents dreams for him. A lot of things change in 12 years and Gavin definitely notices Casey this time around. I loved that this book gave us a chance to reconnect with White Lucas from Jordan Marie's Raging Heart On. I also loved the character of Aden McIntyre who will star in the next book in this series. This is a fun quick read and is great for an afternoon read by the pool or with your favorite glass of wine.

Jordan Marie delivered another great book. Her characters likeable, her storyline enjoyable, the sex hot. There was 2 things wrong with this book, the blatant coffee abuse and it's too short. I had a hard time reading about the spilled coffee. I am looking forward to her next book.
