Pro football player Jake Miller’s game plan for winning back supermodel Hannah Hahn is play action in the bedroom. Once he sees beyond the swimsuits and lingerie, feelings of love blindside him, changing the rules of the game.
Hannah owns the runway, but that success came with a price and a secret that’s kept her from trusting a man until Jake crashes through her defenses.
The paparazzi love the beauty and the beast couple but the tabloid rumors turn ugly and test the fragile trust between them. Then Hannah loses an ad campaign to fashion’s new ‘it’ girl. Her desperate reaction will cause Jake to challenge everything she’s ever believed about herself.

This is a short conclusion to PLAYING FOR KEEPS and tells the story of the support characters in that book... It is a cute/sad story of two people who have had to overcome difficult childhoods to reach the pinnacle of their respective careers... It is little more than a single sitting to read but if you read the first book it fills in the blanks and answers questions raised in Book One...

Let first of by saying this more I feel of a novella rather than a book. The story is short and picks up where "Playing for Keeps" ended. However, even though this is a short book it was too the point without being overly drawn out.  The story of Hannah and Ryan also like the previous book felt relate-able other than the professions. The insecurities not wanting your heart to fall for someone who can break it. Especially since both of these characters have a very rough past. through this book we learn more about them and as we do we watch them transform and begin to learn how to do stuff they never though they would ever do. Not to mention I love the ending to this story. Please read these books in sequence in order to get to know the characters and their stories. They are very enjoyable. Happy Reading!!

Going For It by Liz Matis was an entertaining read & it did not disappoint! Jake, a pro football player, & Hannah, a Victoria's Secret model, once had a brief, yet hot fling that ended too soon. After seven months apart, they are reunited at their friends' wedding. From there, the flames gets rekindled & these two spend more time together in & out of the bedroom. However, Hannah has a past that doesn't let her trust or love easily. And Jake is determined to break down her walls as well as make her see herself as the beautiful woman that she is. Going For It was such an enjoyable read I didn't want it to end. It had all the ingredients in making a great story: in-depth characters, a well-developed plot & storyline, and good pacing of the story. Although short, the story didn't feel rushed or incomplete. Instead, it felt...just right. Overall, Going For It was a light, sexy, and sweet contemporary romance that I highly enjoyed reading. Highly recommend this story for anyone seeking out a satisfying read that will leave you with a smile :)

A fun, sexy short that scores big! The follow up to Playing for Keeps delivers as Hannah and Jake navigate their demons and each other while tearing up the sheets. A great summer beach read!
