Having read and loved all the previous books in this series, I have anxiously been awaiting Julian Dane and Kendall Parker's story. Wow, was I blown away! You know when you anticipate a book and you finally get to read it and you worry that it won't be as good as you anticipated? Well never fear, there is no danger of that happening in Going In Deep. I loved this book from start to finish. Julian hasn't always been a nice guy, in fact he treated Kendall so badly that it almost destroyed her.; however in doing that it also became his saviour as he realised he had hit rock bottom. What happens when two tortured souls gravitate to each other? When Julian first ”met” Kendall he was using her to get back at his ex best friend Kade, he had no idea that she was struggling with her inner demons and was bi-polar. He was an alcoholic and a drug addict and had no concerns for anything or anyone except revenge. Fast forward and both Julian and Kendall have worked hard to get their lives on track. Julian knows that he owes Kendall an apology and in truth, he misses her. Kendall has done her best to avoid thinking about Julian as she still isn't over the hurt he caused, not only to her but her family. After constantly showing up and trying to apologise, Kendall finally decides it's time to face Julian and they slowly work their way back into a relationship. Of course Kendall is extremely anxious that her sister Lexie and brother in law Kade don't find out that she is seeing Julian again. What will happen when their secret is exposed? Will her family trust her to know who or what she wants for herself? Or will it come to an ultimatum of family versus the man she loves? You'll have to one click to find out. I love second chance at love stories and this one was captivating from the start. This book was extremely well written, the issues that both Julian and Kendall face are real and Ms.Phillips handled them with respect and dignity.

This is book #4, in the Billionaire Bad Boys series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading series books in order. Julian is recovering from hitting the absolute bottom. He takes the steps to getting better seriously now. He is trying to make amends where he can. Kendall has her own issues. While health is important, the heart wants what it wants. Can she go back to loving the man who makes her heart melt? Or was the past too much for the new her to handle? These characters are obviously meant to be together. What is even better, they both have taken the time to get their own personal selves better. I think this story shows how important it is to take care of your own business before worrying about someone else. Then you are free to love as you like. ***This early copy was given in exchange for an honest review.

I started Going in Deep without any background knowledge of the characters. This is the first book in this series I have read. My expectations were hot, heavy, sexy, steamy, and fun. There was all that so more in the book. Julian had to prove himself to Kendall. Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me came to mind and I was hoping that Julian would treat Julian as the queen she deserved to be treated as. Both Julian and Kendall were good, nice characters. I was invested in Julian staying clean, Kendall becoming her own person, and them coming together and finding their happy ever after. The secondary characters especially Lexi, Kendall’s twin, and Alex, Julian’s roommate, were wonderful. I am interested in learning more about them both and seeing how they continue to live their lives. I liked how protective the characters were of each other yet how much they respected each other’s opinions. The things they did for each other were not meant to hurt but rather to protect, help, and show their love. Going in Deep was a quick and easy read. The words flew off the page and I could not stop reading. I enjoyed the story and look forward for more from Carly Phillips. Thank you Rock Star PR for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Sighhhhh... That was the swoon heard round the world. I'm going to admit, I didn't think Julian could be redeemed after Going Down Easy. How he used Kendall, it just broke my heart into a zillion pieces, BUT if ever there was a man to redeem himself, it was Julian in this book. Ironically enough, the self-worth that he helped steal from Kendall by unknowingly using her mental illness against her, is returned in triplicate in this book. Julian and Kendall have a lot of ground to cover in this book, and while they could have easily gotten lost in the angst and hurt of the past, they spend more time developing their present, and finding out how they forget and move on from the past rather than reliving it. Both Julian and Kendall bring out the strength in one another. Putting the past to rest, and finding their happy. Their forever. Honestly, I almost lost a lot of respect for Kade and Lexie. ALMOST. They were definitely saved, but they toed the line by almost hurting Kendall too much. I get the need for their action though. And I think it actually pushed Julian and Kendall even further to find who they really are and want to be. It's not easy dealing with their collective pasts, but they make it worth every anger-filled and hurt-filled moment to get to those lust, love, fun, and amazing-filled moments that we get to see between Julian and Kendall in GOING IN DEEP. Definite must-read! Happy Reading! *ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

4.5 Second Chance Stars! I really enjoyed this emotional, sweet, and sexy romance. In the previous books in this serious we witnessed Kendall's spiral down and then her struggle to get help with her Bi-Polar disorder. During that time she and her sister are manipulated and used by Kendall's boyfriend Julian. Now we learn Julian's background and what lead him to this point. He was devastated when he learned about Kendall's illness and it motivated him to confront his own demons. Now he is trying to make amends so he can move on and be a better man. When he finds Kendall again, he is struck by how much he really cares for her and how he wants to convince her to give him a second chance. I loved how this story was about how they worked hard to become strong, independent and happy with themselves. They wanted to show those who supported them that they can now trust their decisions and choices. I really enjoyed watching Kendall and Julian get to know each other as they are today and how they learn to trust again. When they are confronted by their past will their trust be strong enough to keep them from walking away? This moving, funny and steamy romance is the perfect ending to this series.

This is book 4 and the final book in the Billionaire Bad Boys series and it features the ultimate bad boy, Julian Dane and bad girl Kendall Parker. These two have been included in previous books in this series. Their past was wrong in so many ways. They are both healthy now but does Julian deserve a second chance? They have so many hurdles to cross if they want to have a life together. They've hurt many people, people they loved. This fantastic story is all about second chances and a deep love that rises from the ashes like a phoenix. I especially LOVED the epilogue! Bravo Carly Phillips! Another 5-Star read from a very satisfied reader! I can't wait to see what's next.

Carly Phillips ends the Billionaire Bad Boys series with the baddest boy finally finding redemption. Julian Dane became a by villain using Kendall Parker, to bring down Kade Barnes in the series' first book. He didn't know Kendall's bipolar, he fed her manic behavior causing her lots of emotional damage. Julian and Kade were once best friends, because of his actions in he killed that friendship. He also destroyed the friendship and trust of the other founders of the company he's known since university. He broke Kendall's heart and trust; he was cut off from her by everyone who love and care about her. Julian's "Enemy Number 1". Rock bottom is different for everyone. For Julian it was seeing the devastation his actions caused the woman he initially targeted by fell in love with. In "Going In Deep" Julian endeavors to make himself worthy of Kendall's love and trust again. "Going In Deep" is a sexy and moving story of love, forgiveness, and redemption making it an absolute "Must Read". The hero and heroine are fun, seductive, and multifaceted. Secondary characters are likable and offer support, validation, and at their worst roadblocks and sabotage. "Going In Deep" has a compelling storyline and a steady pace which keeps the reader engaged throughout. Carly Phillips' Billionaire Bad Boys series books have all been engaging "One Click" winners. This is the first book from this series I have read, and now I have to go back and read the others. I have loved every Carly Phillips book I have read, and they seem to be getting better and better. This is a beautiful second chance romance. I love how Julian works for his relationship with Kendall, and how the relationship grows. #MSBB

What a wonderful 5 star must read addition to this awesome series!! And to finally give us the redemption of Julian Dane was just perfect!! I knew Carly would not have introduced us to this beautiful troubled man without a plan in place to one day show us the real Julian, one that we could fall in love with and call hero. I believe that is who we got in this book, the real Julian, and oh how happy I am for that. He has worked so hard to climb out of the rabbit hole and clean up his life and stay on the straight and narrow. He shows great strength of character now and is definitely someone worthy of forgiveness and of finding his own HEA. Granted it took was what he had done to Kendall and to his best friends to realize how badly he needed to change, but he did it and is now a much better man for it. Kendall has grown so much since when they together before and has finally received the help she needed for her bi-polar disorder to stay steady and grounded. She is happy and well adjusted to her meds and now living a fulfilling life. She is very passionate about the rescue dogs she works with and it is through that where she and Julian reconnect again. But is she ready to accept Julian back into her life and forgive him? Can she? Can they take what they had before and syphon out the good and healthy parts and build from that? Can Kendall's twin sister Lexie ever accept Julian with Kendall after everything that happened before? Will Kade? This is a story about connection, commitment, redemption, forgiveness and love. It is very well written and the serious issues that are intertwined throughout the book are handled beautifully by the author. You really need to read this book! I promise you will not be disappointed!!!

A couple with so many daemons and obstacles to overcome both alone and together. This is the first second chance romance I have ever read with such beautifully flawed couple front and center. Totally unique in that the hero of this one was the villain (so to speak) of the first story in the series. Julian Dane is battling addiction and huge mistakes he made and the one mistake he regrets the most is hurting Kendall Parker in his quest for a part of Blink. (the empire his lost friends built without him) Kendall is finally getting her life together on the right balance of medication and therapy. It has been a life long battle but she is finally just about ready to stand on her own two feet then he comes back the one man that made her realize she needed help by breaking her. Such a believably real life HEA and genuine supportive charters. Loved this story and this series!

I loved this story from the beginning. I have been waiting for Julian and Kendall to get their own story. You could tell from the previous books that even though Julian and Kendall’s relationship started out “fake” the feelings were real. We were introduced to Julian as him being a horrible guy, but it turns out that sometimes things people do on the outside aren’t who a person is on the inside. Even as wrong as it may be, someone in a similar situation might find themselves making the same choices that Julian did. Julian as it turns out is an extremely loving man that goes above and beyond for those he loves. The way Julian hurt Kendall is something that Julian lives with every day and it’s something that hurts him deeply; he never knew that Kendall suffered from Bipolar. Kendall is now taking her Bipolar medication regularly and feeling more like a grown woman in control. She has had a really hard time in life trying to keep her Bipolar in control. Julian was another time in her life that her lack of control hurt someone else. Kendall is trying to prove that is she now in control and can take care of herself. When Julian comes back into Kendall’s life she is trying to stay away. Julian is doing everything he can to prove to Kendall that he is a good guy and not at all like what she remembers. This is a must read. Another fantastic book by Carly Phillips. You will fall in love with Kendall and you will see a new side of Julian that makes you fall in love with him as well. This was such a great end to this series

ARC for honest review with no compensation Going in Deep by Carly Phillips is a second chance at love and to repair friendships lost with tears, laughter and rooting for a happy HEA…well done Carly! ! Julian and Kendall met in the 1st book in this series, Going Down Easy but Julian ruined everything between them and lost his best friend in the process too. He never told anyone what happened to him in college and what led to his downfall. Time has passed and he is determined to fix all the wrongs and wants more than anything to get back into Kendall life. Kendall on the other hand wants nothing to do with Julian after all the damage and hurt he caused her and her family but when they meet up at the shelter for animals where she works she see a difference in him and maybe if they take their time they can work to getting back together….. Will they figure out that through all the mistakes in the past they can have a future together or will her family figure a way to keep them apart???

Kendall and Julian's story may just be my favorite out of the whole series and I've loved the whole series! When Julian walks back in to Kendall's world, you can't help but worry and wonder if he will hurt her again or is he really in it to make amends? Can they find love when everyone in her life is seemingly against them? This story touches on deep issues like drugs and mental health. And Carly Phillips does a great job in showing how much work goes in to making an addict and someone who is bipolar healthy! The end is emotionally touching and wraps up the whole series nicely! I can't wait to see what Ms. Phillips comes up with next.

Julian Dane is the baddest boy of the Billionaire Bad Boys. He pulled some things in earlier books that really had me questioning if he was going to be redeemable. I have to say this book definitely laid all of those fears to rest. The brief glances we had of Julian and Kendall Parker in earlier books really had me hoping they were going to get their own book some day. I love that we saw their past through Julian's eyes and the way he owned those mistakes and grew from them. There was so much going on that we didn't know about and this book really delved into all of that. I loved seeing Julian and Kendall making a fresh start, plus the way their real lives factored into all of that as well. It was a great way to wrap up their stories.

Well we met Julian Dane in Going Down Easy when he played games with Kendall Parker to get back at his one time partner, Kaden Barnes, who is in a relationship with Kendall's twin sister, Lexi. I would NEVER have thought that Carly Phillips' would be able to redeem Julian after all the crap he pulled but I actually did end up liking Julian and even rooting for him to win Kendall back. Shortly after Julian hurt Kendall, he realized what a horrible thing he did and tried everything to get her to talk to him. Finally, 9 months later he gets to talk to her after finding out that she works at For Paws, a not-for-profit animal shelter in Midtown Manhattan. Their first meeting didn't go exactly as Julian was hoping, but he wasn't giving up. I really loved how Julian owned up to his hurtful actions and when he finally explained to Kendall all the reasons behind his behavior, I actually started to feel sorry for him. It seems there really is a nice guy deep down inside of Julian. I really enjoyed how these two people, both with some major issues, really worked through their problems and eventually came together. It had to be so thrilling for Kendall to stand on her own two feet and take back complete control of her life. It was also hard for Lexi to have to give up that control that she has had for so long looking after her twin and letting Kendall live her own life. I really loved the heartbreaking story these two had to go through to get their happy ending. It was so emotional as times but well worth it to be finally at peace with their lives. I also just adored Steve and Waffles....these two sounded so fun to be around!

We finally get to read about Julian and Kendall! I couldn’t put this down! It was nice to hearing from Julian’s perspective and have him own up to what he did in the past. He truly did realize and learn from his past. Kendall has grown as well. Finally getting a handle on her illness she is able to lead a normal life. These two make it work and mesh so well together.

3.75 stars--GOING IN DEEP is the fourth installment in Carly Phillips’ contemporary, adult BILLIONAIRE BAD BOYS erotic, romance series focusing on a trio of close knit friends-Derek West, Kaden Barnes and Lucas Monroe, and former business partner Julian Dane-a spin off from her DARE TO LOVE SERIES. This is IT businessman Julian Dane, and Kendall Parker’s story line. GOING IN DEEP can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Kendall and Julian) GOING IN DEEP is a second chance romance for freelance cyber security specialist Julian Dare, and the woman he loved Kendall Parker. A few year earlier, strung out and addicted, Julian Dare sued his former best friend Kaden Barnes’ and owners of the computer software company BLINK for his share of the profits but in the meantime forged a relationship with Kaden’s future sister in law to get back at the man he was hoping to destroy. Enter Kendall Parker, the woman Julian hopes to rekindle a relationship while he struggles to make amends to everyone he hurt in the past. GOING IN DEEP reveals some of the history as to why Julian Dane fell into the world of alcohol and drugs, as well as the outstanding guilt he carries throughout his life. Not only is Julian responsible for destroying the relationship between himself and his best friend but our hero must ensure the well being of someone else in his life. Kendall Parker struggles with bi-polar disorder, and throughout the process of coming to terms with her disease, Kendall finds herself pulled back into the world of the man she once loved-a man who no longer resembles the cold, calculating lover from her past. The relationship between Kendall and Julian is one of second chances; a rekindling romance between two people destroyed by one man’s battle with too many demons and the guilt and shame of betrayal and loss. Kendall, a volunteer at a local dog shelter, not only suffers with a psychological disorder but must battle for her independence from a family who wish to protect the people that they love. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. The secondary and supporting characters include Kaden and Lexie (Going Down Easy); Julian’s younger sister Alyssa, as well as his new house guest Alex, a young woman who finds herself abandoned on so many different levels. We are also reunited with several of the previous story line couples, if only, by way of mention or in passing. The world building looks at forgiveness and penance; second chances and the reawakening a love damaged by betrayal and mistrust. I did have a couple of concerns with some of the current story line content: the lack of any major confrontation between Julian and the partners at BLINK -although many of the issues had previously been revealed throughout the series I think the overall situation /resolution required more story line conflict to be believable (under the circumstances) or at the very least a more plausible, more emotional outcome; and Alex’s brother Billy’s status was left hanging without any real resolution considering he was a possible threat to Julian’s welfare and Alex’s safety. The premise is revealing; the characters are spirited and dynamic; the romance is captivating and passionate. GOING IN DEEP looks at the destructive nature of addiction,.

Going In Deep the fourth book in Carly Phillips’ Billionaire Bad Boys series is another winner. Julian Dane had hit bottom when we met him in book one, Going Down Easy. Julian used Kendall Parker, Lexie’s twin, in order to get a settlement from the partners of Blink. This time around Julian is a changed man and needs to ask Kendall for her forgiveness for his previous behavior. Julian was a new man and had never forgotten Kendall. Kendall also was a new person. She was staying on her medicinal routine to keep her bipolar behavior in check and seeing a therapist to keep herself on the straight and narrow. After reuniting with Julian and accepting his apology, Kendall realizes that he is really a changed man. These two have a number of obstacles to overcome, especially the acceptance by Lexie and Kade of this relationship. Ms. Phillips is a wonderful storyteller which was demonstrated in this wonderful story. This book does not have all of the sexy that Ms. Phillips is known for but it did not distract from the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting it down. I highly recommend this outstanding book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I'll be the first to admit, I was pretty nervous going into Julian's story. I couldn't get the things he had done out of my head. How was he going to be redeemed? I should have known better than to worry. Carly Phillips took a tough situation and created a beautiful love story. A love story about second chances, forgiveness, change and moving forward. I wasn't sure how I would end up loving Julian. But I did. His remorse, lack of excusing his behavior and owning up to his actions and changing his life had me. And his love for Kendall made me swoon. And Kendall didn't have an easy road herself. These two complimented each other in a perfect way. They showed that no one is perfect, that everyone can make mistakes. But that everyone can come back from that. What a fantastic story! Happy reading!

Carly Phillips is one of my go to one-click authors. Her stories are always exceptional and pack sexy heat! Going In Deep has all of Carly's usual wonderful elements, but also tackles important issues. It is a wonderful story of how recovery and redemption are earned after the characters struggle with mental illness and addiction. It beautifully tells the tale of how characters/people can stumble and struggle and come out stronger with work and love.

What a comeback story! I never thought I could like Julian after all that we heard about him in the prior books, but Carly Phillips did a phenomenal job of resurrecting an injured soul and former bad guy and making him really easy to love. Great job! If you’ve followed along in the series, you will recognize almost all of the characters of friends and family … great characters, a redeeming storyline, and a really hopeful message that there can be a second chance and a happy ending no matter where life might have previously taken you! We met Kendall Parker early in the series when her twin sister, Lexie fell in love with Kade Barnes. We saw some not so stellar moments of how she treated her sister, how she tortured herself and how she managed to find the strength to say she wanted to get help and live a better life once and for all. She’s back, she’s healthy and she’s trying to live her life for herself in a way that makes her accountable for the first time in a long, long time. Julian Dane was in Kendall’s life for a short time and helped her derail herself into one of her deepest spirals ever. He thought he had gone as low as he could go in his life until he met her … and realized he had used and damaged an unwell person. He wants more than anything to make amends and let her know how very sorry he is. He’s living a different life these days, and when Kendall finally agrees to hear him out, she sees a different man than she knew before. The attraction between them is just as deep as it ever was, but can she find the strength to trust him and what he’s showing her right now? Will she be able to have a relationship with him when she knows it will not make her sister and friends happy?

I really loved this book. It's by far my favorite of the series, and I'm so shocked about that! I was so worried about how Carly was going to make me love Julian after his straight up villainy in book 1. But, she not only managed to make me like him, she made me love him, and really pull for him and Kendall. Then again, I do love a good grovel! Kendall Parker is a twin. She's also living with bipolar disorder. Her twin sister Lexie was the heroine of book 1, and we saw Kendall in book 1 in the worst possible light. She was off her meds, and manic, and she was making some terrible decisions. She met a guy and fell for him, and allowed him to manipulate her into doing harm to her sister, her sister's now husband, Kade, and even to herself, and all of her other relationships. That guy was Julian. Once his duplicity was uncovered, and she realized everything she'd done, she checked herself into an inpatient treatment center. We've seen the changes she's made to her life over books 2 & 3 in the background, so I was looking forward to how she was going to handle her life, now that she's on a more even keel. She's taking her meds, and working her therapy, and she's made amends with the people in her life. She has 2 steady jobs, one as a dog walker, and one at the animal shelter. She's much happier in her life, but for one aspect. She misses Julian. She tries not to think of him at all. He hurt her deeply, and caused her to hurt her family. She knows he didn't care about her, and she can't trust him, but on her side, it was real. Julian Dane was the villain in this series from the start. He was college best friends with the heroes from the 3 earlier books, but especially with Kade from book 1. He also helped them with the beginning of the creation of their successful app, Blink. But, Julian went down a dark path towards the end of college. He got addicted to drugs, and turned his back on all his friends. Later, during the events of book 1, he was sober, and had been for a while, but he was suing Blink for his part of their success since he was a part of the creation of it. He also approached Kendall as if he was a stranger, though the whole time he had his own agenda. He used her to try to get what he wanted, and he manipulated her to his advantage. He didn't know she was manic, but he probably wouldn't have cared if he did. He hurt Kendall badly. It wasn't until her disease was revealed, and he realized what he'd actually done and how it had hurt everyone, that he hit rock bottom and realized he needed to change his life. Now, he is still working his program in AA, and he needs to apologize to Kendall. She's not having it. Kendall and Julian both had SO MANY of their own issues to overcome in order to be happy together. Julian really owned up to his bad choices and apologized, from the heart. I really liked that. He didn't try to make excuses, he just owned it, and apologized. Kendall was very forgiving, but she's had to ask for a lot of forgiveness in her life too. Kendall and Julian's chemistry was so hot. Though, that had never been their problem. This was a 2nd chance romance, though this time it was real on both sides. This series has been great fun, and I really look forward to what's next from Carly Phillips!

I've loved each of the Billionaire Bad Boys books along the way. I'll be honest and say when I saw Ms. Phillips was going to write a redemption book for Julian Dane, I honestly didn't see how she could do it based upon what he had done to Kendall. I'm so very happy to say not only was I wrong, and Ms. Phillips gave her readers her very best book I've read to date. I really hated Julian for using Kendall in the way he did in Going Down Easy, and have to say the first way he started redeeming himself to me was by owning his past choices rather than saying they were mistakes. I also started to take into consideration he was unaware of Kendall's illness when they were together, as Kendall had never shared the fact she was bipolar, though that still didn't give Julian the right to use Kendall. As Julian started to share his background and his family's background with Kendall, it gave me more insight into why he became and addict and made the choice he made along the way. Julian truly had been through hell and back and while I didn't agree with many of his actions, I did finally understand why he made the choices from his past. Kendall had been through hell thanks to her mental illness. Now that she is finally able to stay on a solid therapy plan, medicine plan, and has found an outlet and a job she loves working with rescue dogs. She is just starting to feel like her life is on a firm footing when Julian shows back up in her life. I loved that Kendall was super wary of Julian when he first showed up, even as she was still completely drawn to him. I found myself loving that while Kendall didn't fall right back in with Julian, she did listen to him explain his past and finally shared her medical issues as well. Kendall and Julian totally had an uphill battle to be in a long-term relationship with Kendall's family. While I felt like Kendall and Julian both made mistakes in the present with regards to their future, I loved they both came out strong once each got their heads back on straight. The chemistry between Kendall and Julian was every bit as strong as it was in the past. I actually felt it was even stronger now, as they both were being honest with one another. Going in Deep gave me all the feels. I laughed, sighed, got angry a few times, and cried both sad and happy tears. I love when a story makes me feel a myriad of emotions, and Ms. Phillips did it in spades with Going in Deep. Julian and Kendall's redemption story was everything and more than I expected, and is hands down one of the best stories Carly Phillips has ever written. Rating: 5 Stars (A+)
