I read this book prior to my first Ironman in St. George Utah. The information was up to date and the pacing strategies for each discipline got me to the finish line. I was a bit nervous before I read this book, but armed with knowledge, I felt confident at the start. If you are going to train and race an Ironman, I highly recommend this "Going Long".
