Gone Over is the story of the American Revolution seen through the reverse lens of British Intelligence--a view never quite seen before. Israel Potter is the best known private soldier of the
Revolution, and his story takes the reader through the maelstrom of the war. From a beginning in captivity, Potter's life touches every major figure of this secret war, starting with the underground Friends of America in England and continuing through Benjamin Franklin's mission in Paris until it finally returns to the home front and the defection of Benedict Arnold.

GONE OVER is one of the finest books of any kind to treat with the American Revolutionary Period. As a suspenseful, well-written novel it qualifies as one of the best of the decade. As a look into a time that is misunderstood and littered with weighty tomes about the founding fathers, it has no equal. The cast of characters is major and remarkable--Ben Franklin, King George III, Benedict Arnold and many others, including the main character--a real man--named Israel Potter. This is how it must have happened in the secret world of spy and counter spy that David Chacko and Alexander Kulcsar create as if they were born to it. Do not miss this one.
