This is a fantastic cookbook for anyone, not just those trying to eat well. The set-up of this cookbook is why I'm dying to try every single recipe. Jacobi starts with a huge chapter on knowing your ingredients. This is possibly the most important step in learning to cook well and Jacobi's chapter on it is amazing. It contains great pictures and explanations of the foods divided by culinary tastes (citrus, cabbages & crucifers, dairy, lean protein, etc). I love it! And then the book is filled with a wealth of great recipes. I've tried a couple and so far my favorite is the Roasted Black Cod with Carrot-Tarragon Purée. So delicious! I would recommend this to anyone interesting in learning more about food and with great, healthy, satisfying recipes!
