This was a dollar bin pickup for me, and it is absolutely... bizarre. It's just him mugging for the camera with increasingly esoteric captions. This is definitely the strangest book I own. I can't say I recommend it for anything other than curiosity, though.

What could be better than reading "Good Morning, Daddy"? Absolutely Nothing. I was breathless with excitement when I bought it and couldn't wait to start reading. Slade clearly transcends the ideas endorsed by the status quo by demonstrating how the truth about people and objects is heavily influenced by the observer’s perception. Naysayers might say "this book is horrible, it's just a jackass who took crappy photos of himself making dumb faces and then added poorly thought-out captions underneath in attempt to be humorous and appeal to four year olds." HA! Those people obviously have never had a high concept an orangutan using a toothbrush or poliwags swimming in a coffee cup. This masterpiece is a blend of fantasy, mystery, and suspense, with liberal dashes of humor, and generous pinches of wit, bound together by a stirring adventure that not only transcends time, but forever binds present to past. My one word of advice before reading this book: strap a diaper to your head, you're brain is about to get blown!

Once again, John Slade has given us an absolutely unique book. Photographs of the author, with greetings from his daughter early in the morning, capture the joys of fatherhood.
