Good Sex: A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition by Charlotte Kane

We all know the saying, "better than sex." Some people say that chocolate is better than sex. Others say that bungee jumping is better than sex. Still others claim that drugs are better than sex. Supposedly, there are a lot of things out there that are better than sex. However, I never use this phrase because, to me, there is nothing better than good sex. And in my opinion, people who use this phrase probably have never had good sex.

Isn't it time you did? That's what this book is about. It's about the stuff you need to know that no one bothered to tell you. It's about freeing yourself to get to that better sex and having that better sex. Exploring subjects such as exhibitionism, repression, and oral sex, Good Sex-A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition is a must-read for anyone seeking a more fulfilling, less inhibited sex life.

The main point of this book, for me, was that in order to enjoy sex--really, really enjoy sex--one must overcome the obstacles that keep them from such enjoyment. And this book tells you how. It is about overcoming inhibitions, but also about spicing things up. Anyone could get something out of it, whether married, dating, single or whatever. A definite recommend! It's really helped me so much!

This book would probably be great for more reserved, conservative, or shy people (which I am not). Like many other 'sex books' out there geared toward women, the main point in this book is to lose your inhibitions, quit worrying, and enjoy sex. There isn't really anything earth-shattering or new, but it is a good confidence booster.

The author admits in the introduction that she is not an expert. It began to show shortly after when all I was reading were repetative statements over and over. Her writing style was a bit odd as well. She gives a few pieces of helpful information so it wasn't completely a waste. She also makes a lot of generalizations about men, women, society, etc. that were really exagerated and, altogether, not true. This was not that great for me.
