Some F words about this book: Fun, Fascinating, Freeing, Flaming, FantasticMarshall Chapman has written an engaging memoir about her own life and filled it with news and juicy tidbits about the music world, especially during the 60's and 70's. At the risk of sounding sappy, her journey should be inspiring to many, since she seems to have come out on the other side of tough times with humor and grace.

This second edition of Marshall Chapman's memoir, based around each chapter being anchored by one of her songs and the process leading to its writing and recording, as a welcome relief from the more predictable writings from the more idle f the road Nashville recording artists, those unwilling to take the courageous road followed by Ms. Chapman over the last 3 decades. The photographs with each chapter bring the words even more to life, and in this edition are reproduced with much higher quality than in the first edition. All in all, a great read.
