Just when Goode Oliver Dooley thought he was free from the tyranny of Mrs. Lumpen, she returns with
Auntie Gertrude to claim what they feel they are entitled to. From one misfortune to the next, Goode
Oliver and his friends at Hobcomney Palace discover they are under attack.

Fed up with being thwarted, Odullum conjures a scheme to invade the palace, undetected, to bring the
kingdom crumbling down. Goode Oliver Dooley battles the Four Flora of Thonia while learning about his
past, and who his parents were. With the help of his friends, he forms a plan and disguises himself to
confront Odullum as he attacks the very heart of the palace.

Allies from afar travel to Hobcomney to help, but it may be too late. They are forced to evacuate. Some
stay behind to defend their beloved home, and to try to stop Odullum once and for all.

About the Author

Gerrad R. Bohl is an author whose professional career began in 2020 after his first fantasy fiction work, GOODE OLIVER DOOLEY AND THE PALACE OF KEEPERS, was published. He has been involved in the entertainment industry as an actor, model, and dancer, landing contracts and campaigns with Harley Davidson, Vogue Italia, and, to name a few. He is also a graduate of The Second City improv comedy school.

He is inspired by the English countryside with its bountiful gardens and thatch roofed houses. He is fond of Russian classics, such as works by Tolstoy, but also enjoys modern philosophical reads.

Writing has always been therapeutic for Gerrad. He has enjoyed writing poems and short stories since he was very young. He is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and destigmatizing mental health experiences. The GOODE OLIVER DOOLEY story is the culmination of his own experiences with mental health and suicidal ideation as a child transformed into a fantasy world that he hopes will help others derive hope, joy, and greater awareness of mental health issues that often go untreated in youth. He has been featured on several popular mental health podcasts discussing his own story and his published works.

Gerrad has been a student of Socio-Cultural and Economic Anthropologies, as well as Criminology. He attended undergraduate school at several institutions, including Columbia University.

Gerrad lives with his sweet and sassy Great Dane, Sir Louis. He enjoys playing the violin and positively loves to garden.
