So glad I decided to give this book a chance. It was scorching hot, but also a well written novel. I really enjoyed it. This is a standalone novel with a HEA.

Nina does not disappoint when she writes a book! I loved these characters and Sadie sounded so much like myself. Heath was out there at times, but that's what I liked about him so much. I recommend this book to anyone who likes  a god steamy read. At times I even found myself laughing out loud at the characters....ESP the kitchen scene! ( Nina , you know what I'm talking about I'm sure! )

Sadie is a chef that has been working for an NBA star for the last few years. When her employer is traded across the country to another team she is in desperate need of another job. Luckily her friend is an agent to the stars and knows of a certain playboy that is in need of a chef/assistant while spending his summer in the Hamptons. Sadie tries to keep it professional and doesn’t need her heart to be trampled again, but sometimes you just can’t help whom you end up falling for. Heath is a very successful and sexy model. He’s your typical playboy that parties in every way possible. He’s come to the Hamptons for the summer and is in need of a chef that can also wear the hats of an assistant and a party planner. Looks are probably what actually got Sadie the job, but she’s in need of the money, so she doesn’t object. Heath surrounds himself with partiers, alcohol, some fun recreational drugs, sexy women, and of course sex. All that disappears after an accident. The only person to stick around is Sadie. The two start to get close, but Sadie fights it.  Will her past knowledge of bad boys keep her from trying again? Will Heath leave his fun, carefree lifestyle? I give this book 4 out of 5 stars. This book is sexy yet fun! It’s got just the right amount of all the components a good book in this genre should have. The characters are great. Sadie tries to be serious but some of her thoughts are just too funny! “This is when it helps to f**k  a slut—they have had tons of practice to get it right, like the Carnegie Hall of cunnilingus.” Then you have Heath who just says whatever comes to his mind. He’s funny, sarcastic, and just completely loveable. “Keep feeding me like a toddler and I might just poo my pants to teach you a lesson.” “Your breasts are my favorite things in the world. I just want to let you know that if we were in a plane and about to go down, I would say goodbye to them first.”   Ha! Too funny! What a great read. I am usually more into series, but this was a perfect read for in between my trilogies and long series. I’m ready to read more from Nina G. Jones!

Sadie is a spitfire that doesn't trust men, Heath is a gorgeous manwhore model that happens to be her next job. Put these two together and the fireworks fly. Neither one of them can hold back what they are thinking and both of them seem to get pleasure from making the other one lose their cool. Gorgeous Rotten Scoundrel is a really enjoyable book that I highly recommend.
