About the Author

Anna Hayes has suffered the loss of many family members since she was a young child. At seven years old her little sister was killed in front of her home. It seemed a pattern of tragic death continued in Anna's life as she experienced the deaths of her father, treasured aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends and ultimately her son and her husband.
In order to understand her own pain, Anna went into a career in funeral service helping families for over 20 years. She also received degrees in psychology and sociology to further help her in her pursuit of happiness beyond loss.
Anna believes that she now has the opportunity to help others move beyond their pain as she has.
