Grace in the Flames is a story of walking with God in the brokenness of life. We all need someone to carry us in the hard, broken, and difficult times. During these times we need a relationship with Jesus even more. No we will not be perfect at our daily living but Jesus will forgive us, try to draw us to Him, and carry us through the hard times. Jesus will be with us in the good times also. Grace in the Flames depicts the need for Jesus through the brokenness and struggles that occur in the lives of John, Jenni, and April. It also shows the need for showing grace, love, and compassion to others even if it may be difficult. We will make mistakes daily but we can have strength we need from our relationship with Jesus. The characters wrestle with their past mistakes, daily struggles, and relationship issues. The characters are well developed and the plot deals with real issues such as alcoholism, having grown up in broken homes, and more. I highly recommend reading Grace in the Flames.
