Although I think this is an excellent and educational book, I just wanted to warn parents and teachers that some of the topics discussed in this book are of an adult nature. This is not just a book about life after the holocaust, it is also a 'coming-of-age' book that discusses a girl's first sexual feelings. There are a few areas of the book which use very adult language. I would recommend this book for ages 14 and up and, even then, you might want to read the book before your child does.
