Over the years of my comicbook reading enjoyment, artist Frank Quitely has been one of those artist that stood out from the rest. His unique style was evident at the beginning of his career and has become more recognizable as the years progress. He always struck me as an artist who was trying to do things differently, with style, angles, unusual perspectives, that others did not or could not emulate. Frank Quitely has massive talent that only gets better and better. When you see his art it immediately stands out and you recognize that this is something that's going to be worth your time. This collection of the exceptional artwork he has done at DC Comics is truly a gem and worth being in any lover of the comic arts collection. This collection isn't just covers and short stories but you get full issues on some of his best work to date such as the first story arc from his beautiful BATMAN & ROBIN series with Morrison. Another thing that strikes you is that Frank Quitely works with the best of the modern comicbook writers out there. I thouroughly enjoyed reading the stories and loving the truly outstanding artwork from one of today's finest artist in the business. I highly recommend this beautiful edition of GRAPHIC INK by Frank Quitely. If you want more of Frank Quitely's work check out his wonderful contributions to the legendary run on NEW X-MEN by GRANT MORRISON.
