The Great Cholesterol Con is the most informative, well thought out, heavily researched and accurately stated book that I have had the pleasure of reading in a very long time. An easy to read compilation of data that challenges just about everything we've been taught about health and nutrition with the research to back it up! An absolute must read for anyone who has ever wanted to know the truth and perhaps even suspected that a good portion of what we've been told all of these years may in fact be incorrect!!! Not only does Anthony Colpo uncover the outrageous lies that we have all been led to believe but he gives you comprehensive ways to improve your health and begin again. It's never too late to start healing. I highly recommend this book and commend the author on his wonderful work and effort as well as his undying search for the truth and of course for having the courage to make sure the information is finally available to the public!

If you're put off by the initial presentation of this book.. don't be. This researcher knows what he's talking about and his extensive studies and open arguments on the web have demonstrated how well he knows the scientific literature. Because of the bold claims to have 'demolished' the arguments of such a broad establishment 'consensus', you may be tempted to think Anthony Colpo is a crank. He is not, and this book is indeed the most comprehensive demolition of the 'lipid hypothesis'.. read it... as if it was your last book. One warning, however, anyone over 45 years old will need glasses to read the small print, although the text is both scientifically rigorous and accessible to the lay reader. (PS I have no connection with the author and no financial interest in his book or his arguments).
