Overview
Chilliwack's sound harnesses a smooth, semi-hard rock feel that is spotlighted by Bill Henderson's fly-away vocals, on top of some light keyboard work sprinkled in the background. With nine albums under their belt, this greatest-hits album fuses all of their best songs in one place and makes for a truly solid package. Their biggest hit, "My Girl (Gone Gone Gone)" is one of the most enjoyable tunes here, along with the beautiful "I Believe" and the lonely sounding "Fly at Night." The pace is sped up a bit on songs like "Don't Stop" and "Whatcha Gonna Do," helping to balance out the lighter material. Henderson's voice is pleasing to the ear and is the soul of this group. Some of the lesser-known tracks on this album, like "Rain-O" and "Getting Better," hold their own, and round out a sincerely delightful collection.
