About the Author
William W. Goodwin (1831-1913) was Eliot Professor of Greek Literature at Harvard University. His many publications include 'Syntax of the Moods and Tenses of the Greek Verb,' 'Greek Reader,' 'Plutarch's Miscellanies and Essays,' and 'Selections from Xenophon and Herodotus.'
