I was skeptical of this book at first. But, from the first few pages it got me interested in the mystery part of it and it didn't pour on the romance so much that it was too sweet. I am not a person who reads the book just because it's over done with romance but I do enjoy this book for the way it is written. I read a lot so if the book interests me in the few first paragraphs then it has my attention totally. Read this one and enjoy it!!
Carol Ericson’s entire HQ Intrigue Brother’s In Arms series is great, but this last book in the series is even better than that. Maybe it’s because I fell in love with Jack in the first prologue of the first book of the series, and Ericson kept me wanting more with every epilogue and prologue in each book until it was Jack’s turn. Maybe it’s because Jack is a great guy fighting through a crappy hand and Lola is the perfect woman to help him out. I really don’t care why, I just know I loved this book!
