Mr. Greesman commitment to reducing greenhouse gases and his frustration with politicians in the US and worldwide is clearly evident in this collection of blog entries. While the author is clearly intelligent and a gifted wordsmith, the tomb says more about the author's unwavering belief in the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report on global emissions than anything else. Unless the reader accepts the now questionable analysis of this report, the positions seem unreasonable and flawed to their core. The still debated role of man-made greenhouse gases versus the documented naturally occurring affects of solar activity should be the focus of these discussions. Without a defensable argument that results in majority support, all the well meaning plans of governments are doomed. Failure to focus on the core reason for the failure of climate change countermeasures will simply delay any meaningful, consistent policy changes globally.
